From starting out with a mark of 44’8” at the beginning of the season, believing I had no hope for any success in shot put during my high school career, I over came and battled, even when I didn’t believe in myself, Someone always did. My family and coaches, always there along every step of the way, and when i needed it the most my guys (especially the girls) were there in my corner reminding me of what i could be capable of.

I won’t miss high school sports, The hot fall practices, the early mornings in January, the blood sweat and tears i poured into it. I will miss the people. The ones i can graciously call my brothers, the ones who showed up and supported me in ways they could never understand. Saying goodbye to highschool on my terms is one hell of a way to end it

A-Town holds a special place in my heart, For bringing me to the lowest and highest points of my life. A-Town gave me memories and brothers that i will never forget. Though my season was cut short, I got to go to war with my brothers and that’s all i can ask for. In another life maybe i fell in love with this sport and got to play my whole senior season, but god damn i sure wish it was this one.
