The agreement you make with yourself months before the race is the one that gets tested. It’s the one you keep when no one is watching, so that when everyone is, you’ve got the confidence to go for it and the grit to see it through. 29.85 miles around the perimeter of Manhattan // 3:21:18 (6:45/mi) // 17th overall at @orchardstreetrunners OSR30Pure NYC and everything that this amazing city’s running culture has come to mean to me. Couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of @noahrunsnyc on the bike. Scouting ahead, blocking traffic, keeping me fueled, and sharing the right words at the right moments. Canada —> NYC, 23h 13m Hard to put into words how special it was to play a small part in @southbound400, bike scouting the course for runners two years after tackling the race on foot. This race, and the people who are involved in it, capture the best of New York and the diverse range of athletes and creatives who make it come alive.Big shoutout to @runningfromthelaw_ for leading the bike scout crew and @eagerweger for keeping us rolling for all 400 miles.
