Tab boom does not mean an exploding cigarette! I captured these excellent photos of @cd_forestryenvironmental in his @jcbmachines 150X HD yesterday on my (still going strong) iphone6 @deathlens fisheye. He was putting some finishing touches to a new revetment wall here in the Forrest of Dean and I couldn’t resist getting some snaps in the spring sunshine. #forrestry by @nathanbickley

Threes the 🔑 Riding BMX: concrete bowls, trails, scaredAF and hiding it well, does not mean I’m comfortable on drops! 😆 Terrified is better suited to how I feel. I broke my ankle really badly when I was 19 (on a pissy little jump) and tagging landings or casing anything wrecks me, drops have just never been my strong suit anyway, but it adds to the challenge in my imagination. This one in particular is local and has been running for a couple of years. I’ve looked at it three times before today and walked away each time. Only adding to my anxieties, as time has gone on… last night I lay in bed going over the line hundreds of times and couldn’t imagine a failure, each a clean getaway and knowing I was riding today with @drinkmorewater_alex, whom i have implicit faith in, assured me I could do it. So I did. The first attempt unrecorded, i cased, ran back up and did it again (vid 1.) cased it again but got it smooth enough on the 3rd attempt (vid 2.) This is I think the second drop I’ve made, so I’m stoked. Massive thanks to:@spokesbikeshop @s._p._c by @nathanbickley
