Darien came in with a long injury history before working with me

Two ACL Tears
Torn Meniscus
Plantar Fasciitis
Torn Achilles

On top of that, he was dealing with constant pain anytime he tried to move athletically

After working with me, he’s back on the court playing pain free

This is where ACL return to performance matters

When an athlete has an injury history, there are a lot of layers we have to account for

Tissue tolerance
Biomechanics
Proprioception
Strength
Speed
Explosiveness
Agility

But the goal is not to keep them stuck in “rehab mode” forever

Once it’s appropriate, we have to prepare the Athlete for the demands of their sport

@darien_1221 is still putting in the work

DM “TRAIN” if you’re in the IE and looking to start training

From not being able to run to playing collegiate soccer. ⚽️

When Angelina first came in, she’d had two ACL tears and couldn’t run. Our goal was to help her play more minutes, feel more athletic than she did before her injuries, and put herself in a stronger position to pursue Division 1 soccer.

Over six months of training together, we focused on building her capacity to run, land, and change direction and how her hips, knees, ankles, and feet worked together to handle those demands. We kept the athlete she wanted to become at the center of the work.

Now, she’s back playing significant minutes of collegiate soccer. A milestone worth celebrating, with bigger goals still ahead.

Behind those minutes is a lot of work that never made the highlight reel.

Angie, you put in the work, and it’s been exciting to see you back competing. Keep chasing what’s next, @angskillzscr

Better hydration: Mineral water's one of those simple upgrades that can make a bigger difference than folks realize.

You’re not just gettin water. You net minerals that actually support fluid balance, nerve function, muscle contraction and energy production.

When it’s carbonated, the CO₂ supports health, mood and recovery as well.

For most folks, the goal shouldn’t just be “drink more water,” since that can actually stress out the adrenal system if done in excess. It should be to hydrate in a way that actually supports metabolism and performance.

That means more mineral-rich fluids, mineral rich carbohydrates like fruits, plus enough sodium and electrolytes.

Drink water that brings more to the table.

Most athletes never train true upper-body power.

Bench presses, shoulder presses, and rows can all be performed with explosive intent but that is not the same as performing a true ballistic movement.

When we press a barbell with maximum intent, regardless of the load, we still have to decelerate the bar before completing the rep.

With the SuperCat, athletes can maintain that intent through the full range of motion and accelerate through the finish rather than slowing down at the top.

The goal is not to move away from traditional barbell or dumbbell lifts.

Those exercises allow us to develop the strength qualities that create the foundation for power.

But in the same way we train loaded plyometric and ballistic movements for the lower body, we should also expose the upper body to those same demands.

Strength creates the foundation.

Ballistic training develops the ability to express it.

DM “TRAIN” if you’re an athlete in the Inland Empire looking to improve strength, speed, and power.

Most athletes don’t need fancier exercises. They need better positions, better intent, and better coaching.

Zercher lunges are one of my staples in lower-body training because they force athletes to stay vertical, keep their ribs stacked over their hips, and control the rep without folding forward into everything.

A lot of athletes are hinge-dominant. They’re comfortable shifting back, dropping their chest, and finding their hips, but they struggle when they have to stay tall and load different positions.

The more positions an athlete can control, the more options they have when they sprint, cut, jump, land, or absorb contact.

That’s a huge piece of durability. It’s not just about getting stronger. It’s about being able to access, load, and own better positions when the sport demands it.

A few of the main cues here:

• Stay tall / Don’t Hinge
• Ribs over hips
• Front foot planted
• Control on the way down
• Drive through the floor

Training should teach athletes how to move better, not just make them tired.

DM “TRAIN” if you’re an athlete in the IE looking to get stronger, faster, and more explosive.

The man to get you bigger, faster, and stronger! by @nathandawalter

Are your workouts only leaving you tired?

Most workouts leave athletes tired

That’s easy

Being tired does not earn you more minutes
It does not make you more reliable
And it does not get you in the game when it matters

These athletes are working hard

Every rep has a purpose
Every position is trained
Every movement is built intentionally

• Stronger positions
• Better control
• More explosive movement
• Durability under pressure

This is why some athletes continue to separate

Because strength without control leads to more injuries

And speed without structure does not show up in games

So yes they are working hard

But they are also building into athletes coaches trust
Athletes that stay in the game
Athletes that earn more minutes

My programming is intentional
