They said, “Let’s go island hopping on a speed boat. It’ll be fun.” They said. They is ME!! And what had happened was…on the way back ME was on the floor of the boat AFTER the boat had turned perpendicular to the water in rough Indian Ocean waters. I was like damn, well at least we made it to 50. LOL. It’s funny AF now (thanks Kev for the video because I surely didn’t like it at the time). I love boats and I love being on the water. This is the first time I’ve ever been scared on one. I called on the LAWD!!!! The greatest forms of wealth look like peace, time, and people who love you well.” - @wetheurban As a writer, I like to write my own captions, but I could not have said it or summed up the past two weeks better than that. Perfection. @jeniferlewisforreal told me that Singapore was beautiful & that I would love it. She could not have been more accurate and it could not have been more expertly curated to end this amazing journey here. We are FIFTY! We are FINE! We are FAMILY! We are FOREVER LOVED! I am so grateful to everyone who showed up for us in such an incredible way with such a huge sacrifice of time and resources. Yes, we did fabulous and luxurious and top level things, but nothing surpassed the LOVE we felt. Thank you is not enough. These are memories we will carry for the rest of our lives. And, to my life long loves, Andrea, Brandi, Danielle, Raquel, & Meyako - you’re simply the BEST, better than all the rest. Cheers to FIFTY more! Bali was a dream trip for me. One I dreamed up 30 years ago. A testament to the power of dreams and the power of believing you can make them come true.To close out this amazing week of celebration with a private dinner at the @fourseasons Sayan Resort in Bali is quite remarkable for me. And so very inspiring to keep dreaming even bigger dreams because they really do come true. I will ALWAYS first give honor & glory to the Divine God as we co-create the life of my dreams & purpose. Today, is our 50th Birthday Party & Dinner. Our collective friendship spans 30 - 50 years. I would not want to do life with anyone else, except these amazing human beings. We are chosen family and have experienced EVERY chapter of life together and counting.Then, partners, husbands, other cherished friends joined us to celebrate our lives and LIFE!! Dear Seoul, I just have ONE request: MORE PLEASE!! I really want to go spend at least a week there, and will. Thank you to the ladies at @nanda__aroma for giving my skin that world famous Korean skincare glow. Highly recommend! (And the massage was ON POINT.) 10/10. No Notes. (see Slide 2 - no filter needed.) The @lottehotel_seoul was a luxury oasis. And The Drawing Room bartender makes THE BEST Espresso Martini I’ve EVER had. Next stop, the main event, BALI!!!
