Getting experimental with @plazawalls in Oklahoma City - it felt like a pressure chamber of creativity, 40+ artists back-to-back + side-by-side painting every wall in sight.

I can’t describe how grateful I am to have been part of this - it truly felt like being invited into a loving family’s home. Thank you @pyramidguy, Dylan, @hannahroyce.co, Brodie, Virginia, @araz.pat, and everybody else who helped put this on and also to all the artists who came out to make this such a rad time 🙏

Our muralist @nathaniel.benjamin has been painting non-stop for weeks! ZARVAN is a massive steel sculpture of the Persian god of time, created by artist @gazelledasti and her team in Reno, Nevada. This stunning and detailed sculpture is covered in hand-painted Persian motifs using @1shotpaints sign paint. Will you be lucky enough to see her on-playa at Burning Man?

Did you know ZARVAN will be completely covered with an elaborate hand painted design of Persian motifs? Our Reno local muralist @nathaniel.benjamin collaborated with @gazelledasti to create a beautiful Persian design that wraps all around ZARVAN! A sketchbook is a place to practice letting go of expectations. Before I start a project I like to draw something spontaneous as a sort of palette cleanser, digesting whatever I’m feeling before going into something else with intention. Always surprised at where I end up.
