Martin Luke Brown // life & death etc (short film) bass // musical direction they say if you love what you do you won’t work a day in ur life. I will add if you love WHO you do it with that helps a damn lot 🫶 had the time of my life filming this back in July with a gorgeous talented gang. 4 songs in one take (keeping the music going as much as possible) was a complicated undertaking but I couldn’t be happier with the result. love these boys !! xx @martinlukebrown 🎶 @oliverhenryprod @mathewswales @izzibard @maxrunham @jordanmackampa @peterproducer 🎥 @henrycroston @tomlamotte @georgiahopemakeup @madisonrensingphotos by @nathanncox
Maddie Ashman // musical direction Maddie recently finished off her first headline tour with a sold out show at the ICA in London. We upgraded the show earlier this year adding @gudmundguren obliterating the drums 🤘I love this gang and I love this show - excited to keep expanding and growing 🫶 🎥: @izzyoffer 🎧: @bethdentonsound @maddieashman by @nathanncox
Blair Davie // Amy McDonald Support keys + BVs just got back from a dreamy 3 week run with Blair and the gang. Just playing keys and locking in on BVs!! played some big old shows and ate lots and lots of Italian food. Was really refreshing to play such an uncomplicated show, sing some beautiful harmonies and had great company too !! @blairdaviemusic @anotherengine @clockwork.live 📸 @annegoethephotography @andreasstatzner @clockwork.live by @nathanncox
divorce // festival season bass + keys + guitar // musical direction Had the time of my life rolling through festival season with Divorce this summer. With two members of the band leaving, I helped put together a new live show incorporating new musicians and new material, as well as playing bass+keys+guitar. I have been a huuuuuge fan of the band for a long time so it was an absolute joy. Was my first time in a long time building a show with no track or click, but with 5 amazing (+versatile) musicians we have put together a show I’m rly proud of! @divorcehq guitar + fiddle @somewhat_joe drums @bridiestagg 📸: @rosie.sco by @nathanncox
dodie // US+CA tour Bass + Keys + Guitar // Musical Direction round 2 with team dodie! a month round the US with my faves and we had a blast. New addition of @heyandylouis this time round, and we dug even deeper on arrangements. highlights were the Wiltern, Bimbo’s 365 and playing a thousand frames of pool. 📸: @shantell.cruz.photo + @elainetantra by @nathanncox

Bombay Bicycle Club // All Points East Headline playback tech // keys + guitar + bongos Was a dream to reunite with the Bombay gang for a couple warm up shows and a big old slot at All Points East. A broken midi keyboard made the few days a bit of a headache but the shows made it worth it. love this band and love these songs. until next time!! @bombayinsta photos by @elliekoepke + @ishashahphotography by @nathanncox
Martin Luke Brown // Festivals, US, EU + UK tour musical director // bass + guitar working with Martin is honestly a dream. we kicked off in May for a full band show at The Lower Third. Came back together at the end of summer for a couple months of festivals, a whirlwind trip to the US and two weeks round Europe and the U.K., ending with a triumphant show at EartH. we built a scalable show (duo, trio and full band) which was a headache but a learning and rewarding experience! I could tour with this gang forever, me and Martin make all the same musical decisions and @mathewswales is the light of my life. honourable mention to @ivan.muela for making us sound so good ! @martinlukebrown photos by @asithappens.life + @henrycroston by @nathanncox
Martin Luke Brown // fish factory session musical director // bass + guitar in August we spent two days at fish factory studios ( under the watchful eye of @izzibard ) filming live versions of songs from Martin’s album ‘man oh man’. it was a crazy few days - we had very little time to plan and a bunch of extra musicians to arrange around, but I’m super happy with the end result. Directed by the legend @henrycroston (apologies to Izzi that one of the only picture I have of myself from that day is of Izzi looking so insane) @martinlukebrown by @nathanncox
Greta Isaac // Productive Pain EP, Live at Middle Farm, Omeara Headline musical director // bass + keys + guitar Last August we got the train to Middle Farm to record an EP for Gret. It was an amazing experience bringing these beautiful songs to life!! Then in January we went back to film live versions of them (musical directed by yours truly). Then in September we rounded it off by playing a headline show at Omeara ( musical directed by the wonderful @cubfowler ). Gret is such a talent and I will forever value the time we get to spend playing music together!!!! @gretaisaac videos by @danielbroadley by @nathanncox
