Guys…

Literally… guys!!

One month… from London, to Atlanta, North Carolina, Texas, and back to NYC…

(4) commercials (McDonald’s, Chase, Quince w/ David Schwimmer, Google w/ Henry Cavill), (1) print gig (U.S. Bank), (1) tv show (The Chair Company), (2) Content Days with Ryan Reynolds…

And 27 auditions in the month in September.

I’m, also, not slowing down. Period.

As great as this is, what you must realize… is that I dropped 2 managers in the last 6 months or so.

It’s not ego, it’s certainty.

So thank you to my entire team. You guys are phenomenal.

Okay @sagaftra, I have a solution for you…. On something everyone is complaining about; and that you should fix. But this is solution based.

HEALTH INSURANCE…

Stay with me. One second. I’m being 100% solution based right now. We all know how you’re increasing the SAG minimums required to make our health insurance every year, until 2030…

And you already know it’s too high, based on all of the feedback you’re getting, from just how many artists DONT make their health insurance.

So here’s what you do. When we cross that minimum mark, every single dollar that we earn OVER the amount needed, is applied to next year’s earned amount.

Let’s use even numbers to keep it simple. If $30,000 is what’s required, and we make $31,000, that extra $1,000 that we earned, we now should only have to earn $29,000 for the following year.

If we have a GREAT year, and earn $90,000… we are then covered for the next (3) years.

Because you guys still get your dues… you still get a percentage of what we earn. But now, you won’t run into horrible stories of people being series regulars on shows for 4 years, the show gets cancelled; and now that actor and artist is posting about the fact they they’re losing their health insurance.

The reason this solution works, is because we know you’re not going to lesson the minimum required. We’re not going to see it go to $20,000 or some reasonable number. No it feels like you took the average of what the 160,000 members were making, and made it $5,000 higher, for the minimum.

Mind you, I’m one of the lucky ones, and I’ve made my minimum in the last (2) months, for the 2028 insurance. I’m one of the lucky ones. Making $30,000 in the last (2) months.

Residuals have vanished. You capped our Class A residuals; for no reason. And the industry is 40% of what it used to be; and that’s when you decided to increase the insurance minimums.

Why am I so passionate about this? Because my son’s autism services are all under my SAG insurance.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. by @nathanreid276

I couldn’t wait to post this…

Now, you guys ready for a little humor…

She’s in ATL in this photo. Meaning, she always and I mean always, gets dolled up, looking like a Queen, and then leaves. It’s an on-going joke in our house.

Ummmmmmmm, she looks so good… this is not funny. by @nathanreid276

Okay, okay, okay, okay, and one more okay…

Nathan, you’re always posting your naked body…

Right.

I finally did close to 20k in bookings in September, and that’s not even including residuals; and I’m already booked (3) more days in October.

………………

One commercial; fit dad; another commercial, sprinter running away from A-lister where the director even said “I had no idea you were that fast”. And I’m now being asked back to double for an A-list DC Superhero, who is literally the coolest man ever.

Today, I worked on my inline skating, because 400 years ago, I was RIDICULOUSLY GOOD, and realized this morning, after my new skates arrived, that I still had it.

The reason I’m posting this is because we are literally TAUGHT to hate our bodies. We are.

But what if “something can be taught”, then that means “Something ELSE can be taught”. Don’t even try to unlearn the old way. Just learn something new. Become the new you. Whatever that version is.

And be the hot nude neighbor. Dear god we all need one. by @nathanreid276
