Roodemption 2026. 4 days of magic and mud.

Massive thank you to the good people in Camp Curmudgeon, who took me in last year as a solo neighbor before it all blew sideways. We ran it back this year along with Athena for her first Bonnaroo and made it to the end, in no doubt aided by their additional decade of superior knowledge and experience. Hope we can all do it again, and to everyone I couldn’t meet up with, see ya next year✌🏻 taken in Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival by @nathantwomack

A huge and special thank you to the amazing @nathantwomack for tracking drums for this album, he is a fantastic drummer and fit it perfectly in our time of need. We could not have done it without him and he is a lovely human being!

We also had the absolute pleasure of having @nigelmusicworld record a horn solo for Falling Apart. One of those ideas you’ve always had in the back of your mind, and listening to it come to fruition was enrapturing. It absolutely makes the song, and it is one of my favorite contributions to the album.

On the production side, the staff and students at Blackbird were so wonderful to work with, and the sounds on this album were everything we dreamed of. Ernesto’s expertise and guidance were invaluable to the sonic adventures in this project. We had the pleasure of working with Tony Gaines for mixing, and I don’t think there could have been anyone better to achieve what we were looking for. Masterfully jumping through whatever hoops we threw at him, he rose to the challenge of the insanity of this album.

I was procrastinating (like I do best) on making the usual recap post for 2025…
Then my cat ran away.
And a week later everything froze.
2026 can suck my fucking dick. See y’all next year.

Bit late on this, but my duo @badhippy_ just dropped our first EP on 1/11. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by yours truly, for better or worse. Bass and vocals provided by @selloutinasuit, drums by me. I hope it leaves you disgusted. by @nathantwomack

I’m happy to say that the new Psycho Wave album is now out in the open for all to hear. This one means a lot to me because it’s the first full-length album to be completely engineered and mixed by yours truly. It’s been a great test in learning to put my perfectionism to the side and finally declare it done, warts and all.
I hope y’all are able to get something out of it. Now onto the next!

1. Grinning Soul
2. Hot Air
3. Insane In Line
4. Stranger Song
5. Sick For Days
6. Northbound Train
7. Time Still Ticks The Same
8. Can't You See? (I Can)
9. Sister J & The Circumstance
10. You’re Losing Days
11. House Made of Candlewax
12. 2 .21
13. Straight To The Heart
14. Neon
15. Don't Slip So Much
16. The ABCs (Of Making Mistakes)
17. Dizzy Not Dumb
18. Clear-Headed Simple Truth

Also, if any of y’all like what you hear and have something you’re looking to record, hit me up and let’s talk about it. I’d like to start doing more of that in the near future as I’m slowly but surely learning what I’m doing. by @nathantwomack

Well well well. It’s most certainly been a year. I suspect 2023 will also be a year. I might even post again, who knows? Thanks to everyone who made 2022 a real one. Looking forward to another 365 days of growth and opportunity. by @nathantwomack

Just got absolutely pulverized by tonight’s performance from Gojira, almost got my nose broken during Knocked Loose’s set, and Alien Weaponry brought all the good tribal energy to kick it off.

Also from earlier this week, a much more chilled out but equally talented performance from Crumb. taken in Marathon Music Works by @nathantwomack
