It’s been a while since I last danced
and I realized there’s still so much to learn again 😆✨

After 1.5 years of not social dancing,
the day I’ve been waiting for finally came ✨

My only expectation was simple: just to show up and enjoy one dance 💃🏼
My body remembered
and gently brought back a part of me that once faded away ✨

I’m grateful I chose to leave a space that once made me feel small
because now I can finally feel free again.
Turns out, I was never the problem 😆
I just needed the right space to feel safe, to feel free, to feel me again 🤍
This is what it’s supposed to feel like 🫶🏻

I danced more than I thought I woud
and I went home feeling so, so happy ⭐️

Aku kembali menari, bukan untuk dilihat tapi untuk sembuh 🤍

~

Pernah ada masa aku berhenti menari,
bukan karna aku berhenti mencintainya, tapi karena tempat yang dulu terasa seperti rumah tak lagi terasa aman dan nyaman.

Aku menjauh untuk melindungi ketenanganku, dan untuk sementara waktu, aku pikir aku telah kehilangan bagian diriku itu 🥀

Setelah sekian lama, aku akhirnya kembali menari 💃🏼
Ada kepuasan yang tidak bisa dijelaskan
saat aku bisa bebas berekspresi menemukan gerakan dan menyadari tubuhku masih ingat bahasa yang dulu membuatku hidup ✨

Aku bangga, karena bisa bangkit dari sesuatu yang pernah menjatuhkanku.
Aku bisa perlahan pulih dan punya keberanian untuk bangkit lagi.
Aku juga bangga karna kini aku tahu siapa yang pantas berada dilingkar hidupku dan siapa yang tidak.

Lingkungan yang baik seharusnya penuh dengan dukungan, bukan saling menjatuhkan.
Aku pernah menerima cacian, hinaan, dan sindiran hanya karna aku bersinar lebih terang dari yang mereka mampu terima.

Kini, aku tak lagi meredup demi orang lain dan aku tidak ingin ada dilingkungan yang membuatku kecil.

Aku memilih kedamaian, kebahagiaan, dan cahaya yang tulus ❤️
Karna aku menari untuk diriku sendiri, untuk kebahagiaanku dan untuk menghormati perjalanan yang telah membentukku 🌹
