I’m really looking forward to the SNL UK premiere next weekend…

Like a lot of ‘funny’ people, I was asked to tape for it last year. I wrote a song called ‘The Excuse’ as well as filming various impressions and characters.

As always, huge thanks to the super talented @hannahhobley for providing backing vox, her face and I guess the subject matter(s) of the song…

I hope the UK give @nbcsnl a chance and then maybe Hannah and I can become season two’s @thelonelyisland

I recently wrote some music for the @unilancashire_acting abridged production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at @shakespearenorthplayhouse

The brief for this: Melancholic but pacey and in the vein as ‘The Last of Us’. It underscored the first scene where Lysander and Hermia decide to elope. It returned throughout the story. Whilst devising the show, we called it - ‘The Plan.

Credit to @atticuslorenzo & @ignacio.blezard who are incredibly gifted guitarists. They made the theme their own and played it much better than I!

I’ll try and get some of the songs uploaded too in the next few weeks.

Here are all of my ad libs from @trompeloeilmusical 2026…

For context, Rip the Melted Dog (yep) would bark at Jared Kushner (exactly) and he would respond with a filthy rhyme that usually involved a dog pun/reference.

I’m aware that there are lots of half-rhymes…

If you DIDN’T see the show, then you should know all the lines should be read in an Elvis-esque Deep South twang. Yes, that’s right - a sleazy Elvis version of Jared Kushner. Bet you wish you saw the show now?!!!

Nathan graduated from the University of Lancashire’s Acting course in 2010. Ever since he was a little boy, Nathan has always dreamt of playing Jared Kushner.
