Babadunni, the personal assistant to late gospel singer Toluwanisings, has revealed the difficulties they encountered while seeking medical attention for the singer after he slumped.

According to Babadunni, they took Toluwanisings to several hospitals, but some reportedly turned them away because doctors were on strike.

“We took him to over 10 hospitals,” the PA said while recounting the efforts made to get medical help for the singer.

His revelation has sparked concerns about access to emergency medical care and the challenges patients may face during industrial actions by healthcare workers.

…As Convener, Chief Mrs Omolara Egungbohun, Says Initiative Will Strengthen Emergency Response

The Ibrahim Dende Foundation (IBD Foundation), through the Lara Dende (LRD) Initiative, has trained 3,500 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ogun State in life-saving skills as part of efforts to promote public health awareness, emergency response and community development.

The training, held on October 15 and 16, 2026, at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Sagamu, Ogun State, was organised in partnership with Paraklet Health Hub Academy, which served as the technical training partner.

The programme equipped corps members with essential knowledge and practical skills in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid to enable them to respond appropriately to emergencies before the arrival of medical professionals.

The initiative was sponsored by Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, whose support facilitated the training of the 3,500 corps members.

Speaking on the initiative, the convener of the LRD Initiative, Chief Mrs Omolara Judith Egungbohun, said the programme was driven by the need to equip young Nigerians with practical skills that could help save lives and strengthen emergency response in their communities.

She explained that emergencies could occur anywhere and at any time, making it important for people to acquire basic life-saving knowledge that would enable them to offer immediate assistance before professional medical help arrived.

“Training 3,500 corps members in CPR, Basic Life Support and First Aid is a significant investment in humanity.

Mrs Egungbohun hinted that these young Nigerians will be serving in different communities, and the knowledge they have acquired can make a real difference whenever an emergency occurs.

According to her ” Our goal is not just to train them but to ensure they understand the importance of these skills and are prepared to use them responsibly when the need arises.”

A single person equipped with the right knowledge can make a difference between life and death,” she said. by @nationalreports_tv

Nigerian content creator Hamzzythecreator has got social media buzzing after claiming to have purchased a new Tesla flying car associated with Elon Musk, with many likely to question whether the footage is real or AI-generated.

In a video shared online, Hamzzythecreator claimed to have broken a world record and announced plans to fly the vehicle the following day, explaining that bad weather had prevented him from doing so earlier.

“Tomorrow, you guys should stay tuned. I’m flying this car,” he said, insisting that the footage was not AI-generated.

The creator's claim to be the first man in Africa to purchase the purported flying car has added to the buzz, as the video raises questions about how far AI-generated content can go in blurring the line between reality and digital creativity.
