LIWANAG 2026! 🎬✨

NU Fairview’s 14mm Studios wins the “LIWANAG” Grand and Best Production awards for “Atoy” in the LIWANAG: CineKwento 2026 Film Festival.

Inspired by National University's Founder, Don Mariano Fortunato Jhocson, the story follows “Atoy.” He is a teacher who wholeheartedly teaches young Filipinos in the 1900s.

It also reflects the efforts of our teachers today, who guide students “Beyond the Lesson” and create opportunities for them.

ICYMI: NU MVT Clinches 2026 V-League Collegiate Challenge Championship

National University Men’s Volleyball Team bags the title in the 2026 V-League Collegiate Challenge Championship versus FEU.

During the winner-take-all Finals Game 3, the Bulldogs faced the Tamaraws in an intense 3-2 set match and claimed their second title in the league after 2022.

Outside Hitter Jade Disquitado was named the Finals Most Valuable Player, spearheading the Bulldogs to victory.

We celebrate the birthday of Henry “Tatang” Sy Sr., whose vision helped shape National University into what it is today.

Known as the Father of Modern Philippine Retail and the Father of Philippine Entrepreneurship, Tatang made a lasting impact on the country’s business industry.
In 2008, Tatang shared his vision with the Jhocsons of making education accessible to more Filipinos. Through his leadership, NU grew and expanded its reach to more learners across the country.

His legacy lives on through his family, who continue to support Tatang’s vision, particularly NU’s growth and its contribution to nation-building.

The gunstart of the NU Bulldogs Run 2026 has been adjusted to 3:00 AM to accommodate preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Summit.

In accordance with the security and public safety measures implemented by the ASEAN National Organizing Committee, National University has adjusted the race schedule to comply with the directives governing activities in Pasay City from October 15 to November 30, 2026.

Please see below for the updated gunstart and cut-off times.

Here are your Bulldogs Run 2026 Race Routes

The Bulldogs Run 2026 course features an accessible, fast road race layout flagging off from the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex grounds, taking runners along wide, flat coastal boulevards overlooking Manila Bay. Depending on the category (3K, 5K, or 12.5K), participants head out along designated turnaround points across J.W. Diokno Boulevard and Seaside Boulevard, returning along fully marshaled lanes equipped with regular hydration stations and medical checkpoints back to the energetic finish arch and Race Central at the main event venue. by @nationaluph
