In my journey heading up north, last night around midnight I stopped In a hotel to rest. Now having a โ€˜continental breakfastโ€™. I donโ€™t usually craving food first thing in the AM (Nor second or third..) but figured I should eat before heading back on the road. I skipped meals yesterday as It is always hectic on the last day of moving out. I was offered a continental breakfast. I am always puzzled ๏ฟผwhen what I see doesnโ€™t quite match what I know. Continental cuisine meaning โ€“ A style of cooking associated with European countries, often including dishes such as steaks, roasted meats, pastas, breads, and pastries. No news here to us the USAers, but It was just the way I was greeted in the lobby. A beautiful women stood there and pointed on the hard ball eggs, bananas, cereal, boxes, and chocolate chip cookies. โ€˜This is our continental breakfastโ€™ she proclaimed proudly.
