Memories along the journey.

This was so fun. AND, if I’m allowed to say it, what a beautiful family photo a kind stranger managed to capture :) AND next time anyone asks me, or I ask myself “are you having a second?” I can just point here and remember “this is not a kid thing,” they said. Turns out Faena did just fine. More than fine. Completely entranced and now it looks like I need to add baton flag dancing stick thing to our DIY list for the week. In pink and purple, of course.

Four years of Faena. Of our little bubbly family bubble. I desired to be a mom since I was her age with my very first doll... life took many (many!) other turns before this literal bundle of joy granted me my wish. Love you, love us, thanks for a goofy, girly, beachy, Sesame-y, funnest fourth birthday xx by @natkathleen

Little girl summer. Guess this is what they call the golden summers… old enough to do everything fun, still young enough to actually want to do it with us and I’m soaking it up ;) by @natkathleen

Sharing a little from the family photo album, shoe edition! Asked Oliver to capture this first clip because eight hours in, right or left as we felt, carrying our little one half the time, scooting, wandering - I was glowing. Not tired. Not done. Just happy. This is the whole point.

And adding to the glow? I am so proud of what I’ve created in Jibs. A vehicle to literally take you places. In your own personality. On your own wandering path. Adding a little smile from toe to head. It’s the quirkiness in people that I’m most attracted to, and I’m so happy I baked that into the recipe.

Now it’s officially, unofficially summer. Let’s get at it. Explore. Take your Jibs selfies, your Jibs feet selfies. Share them with us. And spread that have-a-nice-day energy along the way.

Members Only ft. Natalie Kathleen 🤍

There’s something powerful about hearing how another woman is actually moving through it—motherhood, work, identity, all at once.

For Natalie, it’s the intention behind it all. Protecting her mental space. Creating small pockets of quiet. Letting clarity come from simply asking herself the question and sitting with the answer.

And the reminder we all need: there’s no single way to do this—only what feels right for you and your family. To get an inside look at future newsletters, subscribe through the link in bio. by @natkathleen

My everything :)

More memories, more love, same favorite people.

Celebrated another lap around the sun together, outside, soaking up a few days on the Roman coast between board games & bikes, first tennis hits, a little relax + a little action… and a whole lot of appreciation for the years that brought me here xx taken in La Posta Vecchia Hotel by @natkathleen

When in Rome…

Gelato is a daily occurrence.
Dinners in hi-low fashion are a must: the around the corner pasta alla Gricia one day, followed by La Pergola 4hr experience the next, perfecto.
Dresses with sneakers (Jibs, of course), heels with denims- Romans really do wear it all well, with confidence.
Cornetto for breakfast, pizza for lunch, pasta for dinner covers all major food groups, right? And a generous pour of grapes (liquid form) tops up fruit & veg balance :)
So much green goodness and tranquil moments tucked right next to the tourist trappings, Villa Agrippinagranmelia (that pool!), La Jardin (those Romans know how to brunch!), and up high at Hotel Hassler (best. view. ever.).
City trip life officially back… four-year scooter pause over, with Faena following in her mama’s (slightly questionable) daredevil footsteps… at least while the policia aren’t looking ;)

Bonus: Airbnb vacuum = endless entertainment for a 3.5-year-old taken in Roma, Italia by @natkathleen

Jibs was never just shoes.
It’s been people, chapters, reinvention — and the souls that make me smile as I dare to build something meaningful.

Loved sitting down with Gina to revisit the highs, the hurricanes, and the little tricks along the way. Then grabbing lunch via golf cart — because Laguna is adorable like that — and realizing the off-camera chat might turn into an “outside the business” life podcast…

And now to the week that somehow already feels like it happened last year because it was so stacked — hosting, connecting, founders, mamas, repeat — and the kind of conversations that actually make you stop mid-sip and think about what really makes you tick. Marika casually said, “This must be your era of hosting,” and honestly she might be right, because I’m still new to LA and if you know me at all, I love a quick fix… and my version of a quick fix for making friends is apparently inviting 30 people into my living room (thanks to many including Annie & Rebecca) and seeing what unfolds. Also slipped out of hostess mode for a minute to celebrate Sarah’s book launch at Lisa’s, which felt equally special in a totally different way.

There was also a bonus moment where I drove an obnoxious amount of LA-om miles for a meetup and unfortunately I really loved Rita, which now means I might have to commit to that drive again, which feels like growth.

Getting used to a new city is a dance I love and takes time. This week felt really good. taken in Beverly Hills, California by @natkathleen

I can’t believe I made a Valentine’s Day reel. Such a Hallmark holiday… and yet, honestly? Cheesy joy.

Day two of celebrating because Oliver left for India on Saturday, so we squeezed in our family fun — and then it was just us. No agenda in Santa Monica other than a bicycle kind of built for two. We adjusted everything down to the tiniest setting, she hopped on (occasionally hands-free, of course), and we rode around calling out every pink, red, or heart we saw: “There’s love! There’s love!”

To be 100% present in a three-year-old’s eyes like that — that’s the real gift. That’s earned privilege. Thank you, my girl xx taken in Santa Monica, California by @natkathleen

The cover photo says it all — a very in-motion holiday season.
And since it’s still snowing across the country, I feel fully allowed to share these December moments now.

Yes, it’s February.
Yes, these are Christmas photos.
And yes… I couldn’t resist.

This is how we wrapped up 2025 — moving, traveling, gathering, and settling into our little bubble of three. From Basel’s magical Christmas markets, to New York (which will always feel like home during the holidays), to home — layered with our German-Canadian-American traditions. Seasonally late, emotionally on time. by @natkathleen

Starting the season off super Christmassy in Germany this year.
Not shown: the beautiful moments with Oma, Opa, and the cousins — whose offline only life we truly admire. One of the many inspirations we’re taking home with us.

Faena may be missing out for all those fun, crafty, pre-Christmas school weeks — but wow, what a gift to watch her explore and light up with this uninterrupted time with our larger family. Her curiosity, their traditions, the way she absorbs it all… feeling extra grateful for these shared moments.

Shown: highlights of the Christkindl magic — favorite streets and new market wanderings, game playing (always!), collecting annual Glühwein mugs (the new Weisswein version is so much better), and absorbing it all before the next stop… taken in München by @natkathleen
