LightBox 2026!! ✨
•
Every single year, this convention gets better and better. More friends, more connections, more memories. Every time I go, I’m always reminded how much I love the industry I’m in, and how wonderful the people are here. Thank you to everyone who said hello, shared a conversation with me, looked at my work, and made this weekend so special. This year was absolutely unforgettable. I absolutely can’t WAIT to do this again! ‘Til next time ❤️💙💚

Much love, Nat

At rest 🪸🪼
•
Sometimes, I wish I could just settle onto a reef like this. Cozy, floating in my own little bubble, resting in the solace of the water. But it’s a tide pool, so you never really know how long it’ll last
•
In the midst of everything else, I’m prepping for LightBox!! I have some cool news— stay tuned! Can’t wait to be back with everyone!! Will I see you there? 👀👀 by @natnat.studios

I will happily melt in the service of your light 🕯️🗡️

Happy Swordtember!! This is for the prompt, “wax” 🥰 I was inspired by Edmund Leighton’s The Accolade for this one— I loved the intimacy of the moment contradicted with the grandeur of the act of bestowing knighthood.
•
Hopefully I can make a few pieces this year! Things are wild right now, but Swordtember is the best time of year 🥰

Dear Dolly 💕
•
Somehow, this is one of those passings that is particularly difficult. From what I saw of her, Dolly Parton was the kind of person to leave the world better than she found it, left a ray of sunshine in every room, and led her life with profound kindness. While I’ll never know her personally, her music and attitude have left such a deep impression on me, and countless others. And I thank her from the bottom of my heart. Sparkle on, Dolly; and thank you for being here 💖

The perils of drawing Notre Dame, featuring @homnesiaa 🥰
•
I kept a pretty good sketchbook during my summer program at Gobelins, and early on in the trip, my friends and I sat in front of Notre Dame to draw; unfortunately, I completely missed a whole section of the cathedral 😂😂 but this time, I made sure to count properly!!

GOBELINS!! 💖✨
•
What an amazing experience!! My teachers, @teenytinytena @ellimacb12 and @cliffdraws are absolutely incredible, and I loved being in their class!! My amazing classmates are also so talented, and I feel so inspired by everyone’s projects. I’m very very grateful to have gotten this opportunity, and I can’t wait to apply what I learned to my future pieces!! Thank you to all of the wonderful friends who spent time with me over the past three weeks; I miss you so much already.

This is my project, Smokin Slippers, a western adaptation of Cinderella! ✨
•
Story: Cindy, the town’s sweetheart sharpshooter, longs to become the new town deputy. Unfortunately, she’s stuck working a demanding dead-end job at her stepmother’s shabby saloon. All hope of chasing her dreams seems lost, until one day, the sheriff hosts a shootout competition to find his new deputy. Seeing her chance, Cindy takes her shot, but in the haste to avoid being caught by her stepmother, she leaves her enchanted crystal gun behind!

For International Women’s Day, I wanted to share the first of a few posts featuring the work I made during my @wia.animation mentorship!! I had the opportunity to work with my wonderful mentor, Pramita Mukherjee, along with an incredibly talented group of artists, to create a VisDev project
•
Our story follows Sirena, a young sailor who dedicates her life to proving that mermaids are real ✨
•
My roles on this show included character design, BG design, and look of picture paint!! These images feature concepts and development for our Act III mermaid island. Stay tuned for more!!
