I don't usually post very personal things but this past year has been one of the most challenging in my 29 years and this past Sunday I accomplished something I never thought I would and I cannot get over the feeling!
That is me in a hospital bed on November 4, 2014. Just coming out of surgery, where 1/3 of my lung had to be removed. It took me 2 months of bed rest and 4 months after that to get back to my normal routine. Crazy me, I had joked with my surgeon if I would have the lung capacity to run the marathon in a year and he said I'd be at 90-100% to do so. So, I signed up for the NYC Marathon and made it in through the lottery (what are the chances?!).
6 months in the gym, 4 months of running and 3 months of Personal Training, and it took everything in me to cross that finish line...literally and figureatively. This meant more than just scratching something off my bucket list, mentally, this past year has come full circle and I can take a seat now. I'm no better than anyone else, but what I'm basically saying is, with a little faith and hard work, anything is possible! ❤ #tcsnycmarathon #tbt #blessed by @natoriouz

🏠Change sucks, but the beauty of it is having choices, and the good and growth that can come out of it.
I'm going to miss the cute, little town I manifested and called Home for 3 years, Kew Gardens. But most importantly, I'll miss Queens, NYC 🥹. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know there will be a lot of sun ☀️❤️. #MovingUpAndOut taken in Kew Gardens, Queens, N.Y. by @natoriouz

✨39✨ in 2025 -- Throughout my life, since 13, I've noticed that my "Even Years" weren't the best, compared to my Odd Years. Most of that has been true; a huge, life challenging surgery in 2014, a mentally challenging heartbreak in 2018, & in 2024, an end to a relationship that I thought would be my future, to name a few. As this is my last year in my 30s, you better believe I'll be making it my BEST one YET! 😎😘 #BirthdayBehavior #Capricorn #🐐 #January5 #swipe taken in Florida by @natoriouz
