These photos are the perfect example of our friendship. Even with all the chaos of everyone wanting your picture and congratulating you, you took off your heels and ran to the dressing room to find ME. I was so touched. THIS is what the @petiteusa is all about, sisterhood 💕 Our photos show us holding each other up, speaking life and joy over each other, teasing each other over our similar dresses, and embracing each other after your amazing win. My heart is so full 💜

Walking into that interview room was a full-circle moment. I carried every lesson, every sacrifice, every prayer, and every setback that shaped the woman I am today.

I didn’t walk in trying to be perfect—I walked in determined to be authentic. I shared my heart, my purpose, and my passion for advocating for Black maternal health with confidence and grace.

No matter what happens tomorrow, I’m incredibly proud of how I showed up. I left that room knowing I gave them the very best of me.

A crown doesn’t create a queen—it reveals the woman she’s always been. 👑✨

✨Countdown to the Crown Day 7: Favorite Appearence✨

Without a doubt, my favorite appearance this year was speaking at Bolingbrook High School with the amazing young ladies of @gwl.thebrook

While crowns and sashes may open doors, it’s what we do once we’re through them that truly matters. Having the opportunity to encourage young women, share my journey, and speak about confidence, resilience, and the importance of advocating for ourselves—especially when it comes to our health—was incredibly meaningful.

If even one young lady walked away believing she was capable of chasing her dreams or felt empowered to use her voice, then that appearance was worth every moment.

This is why I compete. Not for the spotlight, but for the opportunity to serve, inspire, and create lasting impact.

If you know me, you know I can’t resist picking up a crochet hook. So naturally, I had to make something special for the national stage!

✨Countdown to the Crown: Day 5- Favorite area of competition✨

If you ask me my favorite part of competition, the answer will always be interview.

The interview room is where I get to be more than a contestant—I get to be an advocate. It’s my opportunity to share the heart behind my platform, R.U.S.H. for Justice (Restore. Unify. Support. Heal.), and shine a light on the Black maternal mortality crisis.

Every question is another chance to educate, inspire, and remind others that every mother deserves to be heard, respected, and receive equitable care. If I can leave the interview room knowing I’ve sparked one meaningful conversation or inspired someone to learn more, then I’ve already made an impact.

A crown is an incredible honor, but using my voice to create awareness and advocate for change is what truly makes this journey worthwhile. 💜✨
