POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey, I’m Natalie 👋🏼

I wanted to share some things about me…

I’m a connector, a collector, and a community builder. I’m super passionate about supporting local and showing up as a “villager” for the people and places I love, even when it’s inconvenient or exhausting. I have adhd and vestibular migraines, so it’s not always easy 🫠

I’m a creative, a maximalist, an empath, a cat mom, and a v proud (house & techno) DJ wifey! I’m also the oldest sister to three insanely fucking talented humans who inspire me constantly.

I love color, whimsy, nostalgia, trinkets, stickers, plushies, flowers and plants, dopamine dressing/fashion, music and art of all kinds (particularly modern art, installation art, and abstract art). Lately I’ve been really interested in fragrance and perfume collecting.

My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, my favorite flavor is pistachio, and I will never say no to an iced honey lavender oat latte.

I have a super big heart, a sharp intuition, and will fully commit to the bit with you 😂

Some things you might not know about me: I am a licensed esthetician and a licensed real estate agent. I used to do musical theater and was born and raised in Downtown Phoenix.

I’ll be 35 next month and while I’m still learning new things about myself and my boundaries each day, I’ve been loving every minute of the power and confidence that I have found in my 30s 🤭💕

Let’s be best friends!!

Welp, I finally did it. Welcome to CURIO! 🥹✨

If you know me, you know I have never met a weird little object I didn’t want to pick up, inspect, learn everything about and probably bring home with me. Unfortunately, my house cannot hold every treasure I find. So naturally…I started a shop 😂

CURIO is my curious little collection of rare, unusual + intriguing things you didn’t know you needed. Tiny treasures and objects that don’t fit neatly into any category at all.

I’ll officially start posting things for sale VERY soon, so follow along, tell your fellow trinket goblins & keep an eye on my Curio cabinet 👀🧸 by @natsayschill

Hey Friends 👋🏼

I’m Natalie @natsayschill & I’m so excited to share that I’m officially taking over the reins here at PHX Brief.

I was born and raised in Downtown Phoenix and have watched this city grow, change, and come alive in so many exciting ways over the years! From new restaurants and creative spaces to the incredible locals building cool things here, Phoenix has a lot of awesome stuff happening… sometimes you just have to know where to look 👀

That’s the PHX Brief mission.

If you’re new to the page, it exists for this reason: to spotlight the people, places, events, and random little tidbits that make Phoenix so great.

Here you’ll find:
• cool local happenings
• new restaurants, bars, concepts, pop-ups & hidden gems
• creative projects around the city
• things worth getting off your couch for

In my current professional role, I spend a lot of time supporting small, local businesses, entrepreneurs, and creatives and hosting community-centric events in Downtown Phoenix, so continuing to expand on what @nick_ryan built with PHX Brief over the past several years is super exciting for me 🤗

Phoenix is growing quickly, but the heart of this city will always be the local people and places that shape it 🫶🏼

So, if you know about something cool happening in Phoenix, send it my way!

Let’s keep supporting small businesses, local events, and the people making our city special.

Welcome to PHX Brief 2.0 🌵🎉 by @natsayschill

This week in Phoenix is EXACTLY why I love sharing all the incredible things happening in our city 🥲 The lineup is really all about one thing: SUPPORTING LOCAL!

From historic theaters and art galleries to neighborhood block parties, longtime family owned businesses & hundreds of local makers, Downtown + Central Phoenix has SO much going on!

Consider this your reminder to get out of the house and actually experience the city you live in. Go somewhere new. Meet somebody. Support a local business. Do a weird little activity just because. You don’t have to spend a bunch of money or have some elaborate plan to be part of what makes this city special.

Phoenix is so much more fun when we actually show up for it 🫶🏼

SWIPE for 5 things happening this week + SEND THIS to the friend who’s always asking, “What should we do this weekend?!” ➡️ by @natsayschill

We’re turning this fun little piece of Phoenix history into an excuse to get our Downtown neighbors together for a movie night and YOU’RE INVITED! 🍿

On Tuesday, November 3rd, we’re heading to the historic Orpheum Theatre for a special screening of the 1960 horror classic but the fun starts before the movie!

Here’s the plan:

🍿 5:30 PM: Meet us at Heard Building (112 N Central Ave) for FREE movie snacks, drinks, and a little pre-movie hangout. Plus check out the historic building featured in the movie!!

🎥 6:15 PM: We’ll walk over to the Orpheum together for showtime at 6:30!

🎟️ Tickets are $14.17 + taxes and fees ($18.53 total) and can be purchased at pccticketing.com (link in bio)

Just a little appreciation post for my girl @tallonsbytalley because HOW has it already been 2 years?! 🥹💖💅

Whether I show up with a million inspo pics, a completely ridiculous idea, or absolutely no clue what I want, she ALWAYS slays. Every set is a little work of art and I swear she somehow keeps getting better and better!!

But beyond being insanely talented, she’s just the sweetest human and I genuinely look forward to our appointments and catching up on life 🫶🏼

I could’ve made this carousel 100 slides long and still had more to share 😂

Love you, Talley!! Thank you for keeping my nails cute and letting me be your tiny walking art gallery for the last 2 years 💖 by @natsayschill

DOWNTOWN PHOENIX, YOU’RE INVITED! 🌼🧡

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Día de los Muertos, we’re opening our doors to the community for something really special.

As a proudly Hispanic-owned business, we’re excited to introduce our very first Heard Building Community Ofrenda, a space dedicated to honoring, remembering, and celebrating the lives of loved ones (including our beloved pets!) who are no longer with us. A SPECIAL thank you to our Community Coordinator, Jo, for building this beautiful alter for us to share.

We invite EVERYONE to stop by, explore the ofrenda, and contribute a photo, handwritten note, or small offering in memory of someone special. Don’t have a printed photo? We’ll happily print and frame one for you right here at the building!

And while you’re here, grab a FREE coffee on us, take a look around our beautiful historic building, and get to know a little piece of Downtown Phoenix history.

📍 Heard Building | 112 N Central Ave
🌼 1st Floor, 102
📅 October 15 – November 2
⏰ Monday–Friday | 9 AM–5 PM
