My sweet mama was a lover of all animals. She taught me to be the person I am today. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to spend so much time with animals my entire life. My mom was so incredibly smart and had the biggest heart. She rescued beardies, turtles, dogs, kittens, and more. She bottle fed kittens, bunnies, squirrels, etc. We always had so many animals growing up because they always magically found their way to her. Or if someone else found an animal needing help, they’d call her. She had this way of loving and healing people and animals. And she absolutely adored all of my reptiles. She called Luna her “grand dragon.” She didn’t care that some people found reptiles weird. She celebrated all our quirks and interests. She loved all animals too and would be the first person I’d call for any animal related question. We would both have the same nightmares of a million beardies in one tank and I’d call her each time. Or when luna would brumate, I would ask her so many questions. Now whenever an animal is sent my way, I will be reminded of you and your kindness. I miss you so much momma. Thank you for making me the woman I am today🪽❤️ by @natslizards
