I love my life! It feels good! It’s amazing!

Being back in Appalachia for the end of summer and start of fall feels so ~good~. I missed these mountains and rivers. I missed the oh so strange and weird and wonderful humans who gather here. I missed the spiders who speak to me through the weaving of webs. I am loving being home.

A lot has changed! A lot has been pruned! A lot has grown! I am so very grateful for my friends and family and the kind strangers who seemingly came out of no where and are becoming like friends and family. Being welcomed back into this slice of heaven has been the sweetest return. It’s like a chance to start again but in the same home I’ve been tending for over two years! Cultivating intentional community is so consistently supportive and I am blessed to have the opportunity to do so!

Thank you life. Thank you love! Thank you Guatemala. Thank you Asheville. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

One day I’ll share some photos from my travel adventures! For now, here’s the last few weeks!

sorry I couldn’t come - I was due for some cutie pie angel mommy time by the lake🧚🏻‍♂️💗🌟🌀🫀

feeling like the luckiest human in the whole world because I’m out here under the light of the Capricorn full moon soaking in the beauty of 3 volcanoes while living on a super volcanic lake in the heart of the fertile and ancient lands of the Mayan people. training in circus arts and teaching yoga, flow arts, and holding women’s circles each week. I am truly living this life as deeply as I can while I am still young and healthy and growing. my life is a dream and I am grateful to be serving up love in every moment that I am alive. it is a blessing to be alive and in service of Love. each day is a gift. thankful for the opportunity to be an angel on this earth.

it’s finding the magick in the mundane. thats the secret. the 6 o’clock sun setting while we walk to dinner at a friends. stopping by to grab a quick favor and it turns into 2 hrs of listening to each others hearts. women meeting for the first time. the flowers draping the walkway of the path whose destination we aren’t so sure of.

I stop for a moment and think to myself “how lucky am I?”

.:. thank you .:. by @natural_rhythms

part day. part night. today we are reflected in the sun’s action. summer solstice reminds us that we hold at all times light and darkness, illumination and shadow, radiance and fog, dusk and dawn. today we are reminded of our shining light. today we celebrate the growth and expansion we’ve been shared unto. and yet expansion is not a comfortable process. the creation of space means that we have journeyed in the dark long enough to make way for the light to get in. to sit closely with the unseen so that we may feel our way through, clearing the path with each curious inquiry. summers heat is only beginning. feel the power of the sun and let it purify you.

a moment of devotion. of stillness. focus. direction.

these circles know the secrets of the universe.
I humbly listen. and respond.

.:. if you’re staying in Lake Atitlán, come join me on Thursdays 10:15-11:30am up at Starry Mountain for my fire + flow arts class. we explore foundations of flow // fluidity // listening and technical // skill based movements. learn the quiet language of flow arts with me. 100-150Q sliding scale. no one turned away for lack of funds. come as you are .:.

▿ the only thing I know for sure is that I don’t know much at all.

but what I do know.
I know.
intimately.

the pulse of my heart.
the song of my soul.
the smell of a mountain breeze.

the warmth of my blood.
the embrace of a fellow human.
the chirping of hummingbirds.

the reflection of the sun on the ripples in the lake water.
sweat from long steep walks.
grief and joy in letting go and making space.

I may not know how or why …
but this life is beautiful.

and it’s waiting for you and me.

to take a deep breath and jump in.
to put one foot in front of the other.
to feel the fear and do it anyways.

and on the way to take rest,
connect with the elements and our senses,
and give thanks for the benevolent spirit of the planet who birthed us. ▵

PLAY!!!! MORE!!!!! 🎭 🤹

the fool // clown // jester archetypes have steadily creeped their silly little way into my life over the last few years. each time they find me again I am SO relieved to remember that I don’t have to take life so seriously 🙃

there’s a special kind of mask that I like to wear when clowning. it’s not faking and it’s not covering up anything. rather it’s an additional layer, a perspective, a lens through which I see life differently. 👁️

the eye of the fool, the trickster, the clown that enters the journey with just a mere one foot in front of the other. present with the laughable truth, the unknown, the mystery. bringing simplicity and joy to all around. saying “put this down a while… we’ve got bubbles to blow, sillies to silly, and wiggles to wiggle”

thanks to my newest led juggling balls for the inspo to reflect on what clowning means to meeee 🤹 I’ve got more to say on this and with some more vids from my latest performance I’ll share 🎭
