An amazingly talented drummer and joyous kind human that didn’t live to see 30. It was one of my first experiences of losing a close one and my entrance into learning how important looking after your mind is. This experience led to a chain in events that made me really want to do something to support those in need. Myself included... A smell that brings back a vivid memory? “The smell of figs cooking with cinnamon and Hennessy takes me back to my childhood when my mum would make a rare dessert as a treat called ‘Eastern Delight’ from the back of a fig pack... Something you’ve learned about mental health in the last couple years? “In tough times, you can send a text to your friends asking them why they like you, or asking for help, and they actually will help. There’s always someone that will listen and be there for you.” 4. What is one way you look after yourself? “The biggest revelation for me recently has been writing a list of 10 things I’m grateful for.
