3/5 of LaShon’s kids came to Houston to celebrate our sistren 22nd birthday. Listen …. we had a ball and then some! lol oddly enough we found ourselves watching Jason’s Lyric during our resting periods. I also used this trip to test out a few fits … I was the birthday too 😅

Unfortunately I understand why the girls be posting they vacation photos talking about “take me back!” Lmao I’m sorry I ever made fun of yall…..I GET IT NOW!

Dominican Republic owes me nothing! I was a global citizen in theory until now. I’m so thankful to the land, water, and people for allowing me to be a guest and observer. I was shaking ass, working on my Spanish (I’m at about 10%), and eating good. Currently curving out time to go over all the historical questions I wrote down while exploring.

My favorite sentence in Spanish rn is “gracias por tu paciencia”. lol all the locals would laugh after I said it but nah fr thank you for having patience with a nigga! by @naturaldoyenne

I like this better as my “I’m 29 bitchesss!” Post. lol I been having a ball this May! I found the meme I been searching forever for. Got drunk off chilis margs in the airport. Celebrated my birthday in ATL. Came back home to dinner dates and gifts. SAW THE WIZ IN THEATER! went to the symphony to see a Black conductor give an amazing show. Snuck wine into the symphony hall cause who was gone stop me? It was poured by a Black sommelier btw (we had a beautiful conversation). My good sis sent me some oil that got me on cloud 9! There was a few moments of “alright now Carmen…you got too much dip on your chip!” But I’m rolling with the punches. Anyways, this what the beginning of 29 looks like on me. by @naturaldoyenne

The random shit I did while in the bay! From finish to start cause after seeing Doechii in concert I keep singing “Let’s start the story backwards!” Every 10 mins. Mind you, I also keep saying “You really are the most devious bastard in New York City” and I ain’t nowhere near that mf.

P.s shout out to my delayed flight back to Dallas. A nigga needed a moment to catch her breath after fighting through TSA.
