Since April of this year, I’ve been dealing with frozen shoulder, and honestly, it’s been another unexpected part of my healing journey. 🤍

After major surgery in January, I’ve been working through physical recovery while also navigating gut and hormone imbalances. I thought I’d be further along by now, but healing doesn’t always follow the timeline we have in our heads.

I’m learning to be patient with my body, advocate for myself, and recognize that rebuilding strength and wellness takes time.

I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one navigating unexpected health challenges in midlife. We don’t have to have all the answers to support one another.

Here’s to giving ourselves grace, listening to our bodies, and continuing to move forward — one day at a time. ✨

Have you ever dealt with frozen shoulder? I’d love to hear what helped you.
