There’s so much I left on the cutting room floor. Grateful for so many blessings in 2025. Hoping for even more in the new year.

The terrace at Chase Field’s Estrella Jalisco Cantina might be the best seat in the house. What’s better than cold margaritas and wings with a view overlooking right field?

I’m a published author in two books! I worked on one of my biggest writing projects to date this year: contributing three chapters to @lonelyplanet’s latest edition of the Caribbean guidebook. You don’t have to twist my arm to wax poetic about Saint Lucia, but I also had the pleasure of sharing my love for Dominica and Martinique.

Saint Lucia was also named one of the 2024 Best in Travel destinations for @lonelyplanet’s 50th anniversary. It was an honour to have my work included in one of the most prestigious travel tomes.

It’s such a blessing for this island girl to have these opportunities and I don’t take it for granted. Looking forward to repping the Caribbean even more in 2024.

🇱🇨 WELCOME TO ST. LUCIA 🇱🇨 “We’re more than just a tourist destination of sun and beaches,” says local writer @naturallynasha. “We have a vibrant culture, as well as customs and traditions that we’re very proud and protective of.”

Still, if you’ve got sand and sun on your list, go for the best of the best, Nasha says. “A visit would not be complete without a pristine beach – which just so happens to be cradled between our iconic twin peaks, the Pitons.” Then, top off your day at the beach with homemade ice cream at @aupoye_park 🍦

Prosecutors in Spain launched an investigation into Spanish football federation president Luis Rubiales, as the storm surrounding his assault of player Jenni Hermoso intensifies.

▪️Mr Rubiales' mother believes he is being treated unfairly, and has started a hunger strike in protest

▪️She has reportedly entered a church in Mr Rubiales' hometown, where she plans to starve herself.

▪️Mr Rubiales' cousin, Demeiza Bejar Sanchez, described the hunger strike as "logical and normal"

⚠️ This potentially breaches FIFA's suspension. It also prohibits Rubiales and/or third parties to contact or try to contact Jenni Hermoso. His family have been sending messages to her through the media.

It’s only right I bring some sporty spice to my first reel! Spent the morning being inspired by and celebrating the most powerful women in sports at the @sportspowerbrunch, one of the signature events during Super Bowl Week. Shoutout to the brilliant Latonya Story and her partners at Meta and the NFL for a truly game changing event. Can’t wait for next year in Las Vegas. #womeninsports #sportspowerbrunchaz #superbowl #phoenix #arizona taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @naturallynasha

#WNBA super star #BrittneyGriner was arrested by Russian police at the Sheremetyevo airport near #Moscow on charges that she was carrying vape cartridges of hashish oil, a marijuana concentrate.

This transpired in mid-February but the public remained unaware until March 5th when the #NewYorkTimes reported the story after Russian officials released the information.

The lack of media attention has led to an outcry of media bias favoring white individuals & the continued minimization of #Blackwomen.

Why has the overseas imprisonment of one of the greatest basketball players in history not drawn more media coverage & discourse?

👉🏿The silence is deliberate.

Those closest to her, including her wife & representatives, preferred to keep this matter under the radar in a bid to not exacerbate the situation… and then it leaked.

The #USA is one of several nations that have imposed crushing sanctions on Russia in response to its invasion of #Ukraine & there is a fear that #Griner could be used as a political pawn. ♟

The prevailing thought is that she has a better chance if her case plays out in the Russian judicial system rather than in public.

There are many complex interconnected factors that complicate sport issues.

#Racism, #genderinequality, right to privacy, politics, soft power and beyond are a few of the dimensions existing here that we must look critically at to understand the bigger picture.

👉🏿Swipe through for an extended perspective.

I loveeeee @nbcsnl and I finally got my own graphic featuring Bleachers! Chinatown was my pandemic anthem and just the dose of nostalgia I needed as the days blended into each other. Swipe to see some of the SNLers I have met over the years and that time my fave Michael Che told me he loved my hat (Thanks to my angel @kellylee_183).
