🌿 Friday Feature Artist: Dr Damien Esquerré This week we’re featuring Dr Damien Esquerré — wildlife photographer, evolutionary biologist and one of the expert guides on our upcoming Best of Borneo Nature Tour. Borneo is one of the great dream destinations of the world: a place of ancient rainforest, extraordinary biodiversity and unforgettable encounters with birds, mammals, reptiles, insects and plants. Amazonian tree frogs! This special frog with its bright yellow striped eyes is the Giant Broad-headed tree frog which we had an opportunity to see while on nature tour in Ecuador. Through this nature journal drawing I was able to have a closer look at its unique colours and patterns, and learn a bit more about habitat and status through additional research. This frog is threatened by habitat loss throughout its range is South America. #natureart #naturejournalling #naturetours by @natureart_lab
