Month 2 and I’m really enjoying observing it’s behaviors during the various times of the day. It almost has like a routine mapped out. Nap time, hang time, explore time etc. etc dotted through the day. #channaaurantimaculata #fishkeeping #aquariumhobby #aquascaping #aquariums taken in Chennai,Tamilnadu by @natureinatank

A quick edit with the footage I caught over the week obsessively trying to differentiate them and make sense of who is who. 😅 some like the pearly melanarus and the carpintis and pinstripe damba are easy to spot while the Bocourti, bifasciata and pearsie are quite similarly until you really start observing the minor details in their body. It’s been very rewarding just observing these little ones. big shoutout to @9.9india where I got all these beautiful fish from. Great quality fish and very good packing and shipping too. 👌✨

Update 3 on the Vieja frys I got from @9.9india !! A week of close monitoring to ensure they are settling well, that’s why I haven’t posted in a bit. Keeping a close eye on individual health + movement + feeding and how they are interacting with each other n taking up territories. #fishkeeping #vieja #aquariumlife #aquariumhobby #aquariums taken in Chennai,Tamilnadu by @natureinatank
