Had a blast last week working with comedy greats @donmcmillancomedy and @stevehofstetter! After getting a little too familiar with certain stretches of I-5 and staying fueled with my coffee namesake, I’m now prepping for my keynote talk at the @ieeeorg IROS 2026 conference next week in Pittsburgh. Guess that’s one way to kick off a sabbatical! #academia #standupcomedy #robotics #sabbatical by @naughtybutnerdy

Dad works from home.
Dad has the more flexible schedule.
Dad is literally listed as the contact.

School: “Let’s call Mom.” 😂

Moms, how many times have you had this happen?

Because apparently “primary contact” is less of an instruction and more of a suggestion when there’s a mom’s phone number available.

Any other introvert moms watching this thinking…wait, she might be onto something? 😂

You get the microphone. Everyone has to listen to you. No small talk required.

Sure, there’s also the tiny detail that you have to stand on a stage in front of a room full of strangers.

So basically: an introvert’s dream and nightmare all at once.
