the MUG 🌟 and the HEADPIECE 💚 needed their own post!
I call this my art angel hair, halo included. Traditional hair styling doesnt interest me much this is much more fun. It started out as a regular wig, until I added layers and layers of paint, varnish, nail polish, and whatever colorful liquid I could find, until it became this. Excited to keep experimenting with my wigs as a canvas 👅

very honored to be featured with my piece Princess of Shreds, which I mostly made in 2020!
I was inspired to make beauty out of the scraps of making my own garments, and highlight all the waste the fashion industry produces, among other things.
Of course I had to make a moment of the ocassion, so why not show up in the art of drag itself, wearing one of my new painted wig experiments.

During June I had the honor of being featured at @hivegallery 's Drag / Queer / Genderf*ck Art Exhibit, curated by @ladybeaver . My piece, "Princess of Remnants", was the only piece of Wearable Art in the Exhibit.
It's still new to me for my work to be considered art by others outside of the drag and poetry scene, so I was delighted. This piece, a patchwork of all my collected scraps for 4 years, holds memories of all my early drag looks, and exemplifies my core tenet of upcycling to the extreme, of the challenge of making beauty out of what most consider garbage.
The fashion industry creates obscene amounts of waste, and it's up to us to consume less and be more resourceful with the clothing we have.

you lock eyes with the world's sexiest and whimsical librarian. what do you do? 📚🤔✨️

i want to give thanks to my team for what feels like endless support. im riding a wave of inspiration, gratitude, and success, and it's so much sweeter with all these beautiful people around me.

i was very excited to get these out to the world. lately ive been dipping my hand into millinery with great results, and cant wait to show what else ive made. when upcycling produces such beautiful looks, how could i ever go back to buying new clothes?

this dress turned out even cuter than i hoped! but i might just list it on depop later. anyone interested? 🤔

also friendly reminder Meta/IG has recently sued to censor books that detail the reckless and illegal actions of its executives 😤😡
