My weekend plans: sweatpants, my back complaining, and asleep before the party even starts. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. 😴

The PRD didn’t die. For AI products, it got replaced by an eval set.

Traditional spec: same input, same output, ship it. LLMs break that — they sample from a probability distribution, so the same prompt can give you a different completion.
So the strong AI PMs quietly swapped the spec for an eval set: real inputs + what a good answer looks like. Quality becomes a number, not an opinion.

The payoff: change a prompt or swap a model, and your eval set catches the silent regression a demo would hide.

Is AI making PMs better or just lazier? 🤔

The busywork specs, research synthesis, and competitive teardowns are getting cheaper by the day.

What's left is the hard part: judgment, prioritization, and knowing which problems are actually worth solving.

People ask why I spend so much time in nature.

Honestly, it’s the only place that never asks anything back.

No notifications. No expectations. Just wind, light, and a version of me I actually like.

Everyone's talking about how fast Anthropic ships. Nobody's talking about what Cat Wu, their Head of Product, actually said about the PM role on @lennyspodcast 's podcast.

She described engineers going from user feedback to live product in a week with almost no PM involved. Not because PMs don't matter. Because the handoff they used to live in got deleted.

The roles didn't just change. They merged. And when one person owns an outcome end to end, the only thing that actually matters is judgment — knowing which of the hundred things you could build is the one worth building.

Coordination was never the job. It was just easy to mistake it for one.

The PM role didn't shrink in 2026. The hiding spots did.

92% of product leaders now own revenue. 😳

PMs used to own the roadmap. Now they own the number too.

I learned this the hard way: from turning a design-system capability into a billable service at a FinTech startup, to closing my first $15K running my own consultancy.

Here’s the catch: the more go-to-market you absorb, the less time you have for judgment. And judgment is the whole job.

My rule: make the product easy to sell, don’t become the salesperson. 💡

Does your PM role include revenue yet? Tell me below 👇

Building stopped being the constraint. You can have a working product by Sunday.

So the advantage moved. It’s not speed anymore — everyone has speed. It’s judgment about what deserves to exist.

That’s product sense, and it’s more specific than people make it sound. It’s the ability to predict how a stranger will behave with something that doesn’t exist yet. Not what you’d like. What they’ll actually do — on a bad phone, at 11pm, with no patience.

The hard part: you can’t read your way to it. You make a call, ship it, and watch the gap between what you expected and what happened. That gap is the whole education.

Which is why the people shipping ten things a month aren’t necessarily learning anything. Volume without a prediction is just labor.

Everyone got faster. Almost nobody got better at deciding.

Fall vibes are officially here 🍂

Cozy autumn days, golden hour walks, and crunchy leaves everywhere.

This is my favorite season for slow living and soaking in every autumn aesthetic moment.

Everyone’s selling vibe coding as the new product management superpower. Almost no one’s showing what happens after the prototype ships.

The pattern most people miss: AI doesn’t fix your process it amplifies it.

Strong product process gets faster. Weak process just fails faster.

So the real skill for product managers, product designers, and founders in 2026 isn’t prototyping. It’s knowing exactly where the prototype stops and production begins.

Vibe code to think. Not to ship.

Follow for the product patterns most people skip.
