BTS for Homecoming by Posadas - full video on our youtube How we made our music video for Homecoming... directed by @navalabs starring @mayita.x and @mai.melancholia this BTS photo and video by @antariiiio edited by @rsm_rain September 2025 a truly insane idea occurred to me - shoot the rest of Posadas's music videos. Finish the full video album i had planned from the project's start, and release it in time for the fifth anniversary, October 31. Ten music videos were shot, eight remained, and i had two months. This was third from last, and was our largest group effort. Nothing in the history of Posadas or Save State Records had this large a cast of crew. I'd contacted Tea first with little more than that i had a song that needed a video. I knew she worked well with Nav, so i asked she invite him to what became our first collaborative project. Nav knew and invited Maya as the video's protagonist, and Mario as our dedicated documentarian. Tea brought Rrin for makeup. I was at a loss before we started - all i knew was i wanted it done, but had no idea what it was. How do you shoot a music video with no music performance? I think i can therefore claim so little creative or artistic control - the result is that of everyone else's, and i got to work solely as the videographer to my own music. I want to do more like this. I want to work with everyone on this crew again. I build these BTSs out of jokes and funny moments, because it's fun to be on set, and to create something, and i want to share that with anybody who watches with about ten minutes to kill, and could use the company of strangers. But as i watch back through these, what i feel most strongly is a sense of appreciation for everyone who drove out to Dallas, picked up a stranger's song from some years ago, and spent hours deciding and enacting exactly how they would best express something that held meaning to them in how they interacted with and redefined this old song. What's Homecoming about, anyway? Our featured vocalist Annabell McGill wrote the lyric, so i can but guess. I hear a bittersweet story of revenge, self-realization, and capacity for authorship of one's life, as the protago by @navalabs
