Had so much fun shooting this one. I tried different techniques and got to play around with the @prismlensfx Halo filter for the first time. I’m excited to try more of their filters!

The city was on fire this weekend 🔥

It was only right to spend the night documenting one of the DMV’s legends. @wale had the crowd soundtracking memories from the classics all the way to the current hits. Nights like this always remind me how much talent comes out of this area and why I’m proud to call it home 🫶🏼

Side note: I thought I lost my SD card in the stadium and had to pull off a 2am mission back at the stadium to find it 😅 taken in Nationals Park by @nayab.jpeg

Art is composed of a multitude of pieces of us: elements part of our very cores, every beat of our hearts, each battle we fight against the wind (or, in many cases, systems at the basis of our world), all of the struggles that make us who we are. Whether deliberately or not, art feeds off our existences—making it inherently political.

Made this quick @billboardhiphop recap to pitch myself to @leonthomas’ team as a hybrid shooter for the NY show — sent it a little too late, so posting it here instead 🎬

Shot on my iPhone with a few Sony clips mixed in. If I can pull this decent enough clip together in a couple hours, I can only imagine what I’d create when I’m fully locked in on a real recap project.

After six events in one week, finally sharing some of my recent work! The Amapiano queen, @unclewaffles_ at @theafroplus this past Sunday ✨

From first seeing her at Soulection in Miami, to shooting her two years later in Miami, and now at Afro Fest — just a week after capturing @soulection (recap coming soon).

I love how music weaves our paths together. The people, the energy, the moments somehow it all connects. Grateful to be behind the lens, watching these stories unfold and being a part of music history from across different cultures.

World Photography Day was a few days ago, but I’ve been too busy editing my life away. Perks of being a full-time photographer lol

Saved the best for last. When I say @iamodeal is my favorite male artist, I mean favorite artist—period. Two summers in a row with the song of the season, soundtracking unforgettable memories. His voice, presence, and range? Completely unmatched. Every body of work, bodied 😮‍💨

Grateful to witness it live with my besties and capture the artistry through my lens.
