In honour of Côte d’Ivoire’s 66th Independence Day, I wanted to share something a little more personal through my lens.

This series is a small expression of my roots, and of the different places, moments and landscapes that hold a special meaning for me. Photography has always been a way for me to tell stories, and these images tell a story that is deeply connected to who I am and where I come from.

Côte d’Ivoire is a land of so much richness. In its people, its culture, its colours, its landscapes, its warmth, its smiles and its spirit. There is something incredibly special about the feeling of being connected to a place that has shaped you, even in ways you may not always realise.

These photographs are my little way of celebrating that connection and paying homage to the places that have left a mark on my heart. They represent a part of my identity, my heritage, and the memories that continue to shape me.

A place that means so much to me.
A place that will always feel like home.

Happy Independence Day, Côte d’Ivoire🇨🇮
