i couldn’t be more grateful to have become the first in my family to pursue and graduate from university. none of this would have been possible without the support of my family, my dear friends, and my inspiring mentors & professors both inside and outside of ucla. thank you for believing in me, even when i didn’t and showing me that it is possible. i feel so lucky to have been able to meet & bond with so many inspiring during my time here 🫂💛

to be able to have newfound confidence and independence to explore and immerse myself, like never before, in my academic passions and personal interests is something i will never take for granted. yes, there were always challenges along the way, but to be able to continue building resilience to push through is something i wouldn’t change for the world 🎓💙

michaelmania is here…and i get to be a part of it!!!????

MICHAEL week was truly a dream come true and this is only the beginning. little nayely would have never imagined that she would be lucky enough to experience michael jackson history like this. to be able to be in community with fellow mj fans and experience this beautiful film with them is something i will hold so dear to my heart. to be able to see the jacksons in all their glory & some of the people who played a part in mj history and in this film was surreal at the premiere. just an indescribable pinch me moment at a legendary place. this is the closest i will be able to get to a michael concert and as soon as that first note hit, i was full tears. forever proud to be an michael jackson fan <3
ending my night interacting with the beautiful siedah garret again at the end of my night and her calling me beautiful. yeah, this is what dreams are made of.

to the MICHAEL cast & crew, thank you for pouring your hearts and souls to this incredible film. i will forever be grateful for this experience. no critic will ever be able to take away from the tireless efforts made to finally have this reach the fans and beyond. jaafar, you are a STAR and truly no one else could have embodied michael like you did. you were mesmerizing to watch on screen! the world will be able to see more of michael that the media always chose to forget about. always, ‘f- the press, michael is the best.” i can’t wait to watch this film again and again! #1 movie in the world baby!!! mj will keep breaking records forever ❤️✨ by @nayelychicass

three EPiC nights in a row…❤️⚡️
the fangirl in me was in full force these last few days fully embracing the elvis magic ✨ 4 years since ELVIS (2022) and ever since we got word that there was unseen footage, it has been a waiting game but it was sooo worth the wait. seeing it in IMAX was mesmerizing. all the people who made it happen and pushed to get this out to the world forever are so incredibly talented!! i have had an absolute blast every night. thank you so much @bazluhrmann ✨ EPCore forever!!

@the.pink.cadillacs thank you for embracing me and being so incredibly kind. mutuals since 2022 and to share these wonderful core memories is something i will hold dear always. “it’s only a movie!” ❤️🖤

last night was truly a dream come true. living in LA, walking past the palace theater made my heart happy as it always reminded me of the masterpiece that is michael jackson’s thriller 🧟‍♂️ thanks to @heallosangelesfoundation, my dream of seeing thriller on the big screen AND ghosts (my personal favorite) in that very theater came true. what an experience full of love & joy. it was an honor to meet prince jackson and talk about his incredible work with heal la and how much he inspires my own work in my communities. i also got to meet legendary choreographer and dancer vincent paterson (thank you for showing me your iconic mj thriller socks hahaha 🐺), tom mesereau, some of the original thriller zombies, and of course old and new mj friends <3 every moment i experience with other mj fans just makes my heart burst with love and gratitude. everything about this night was thrilling and just the best way to celebrate a forever groundbreaking album by the forever king, michael jackson. by @nayelychicass
