In Cacao we Trust ✨

The wise Cacao Spirit guided our founder to this corner of San Diego 4.5 years ago

She walked into a dusty space and saw with clarity what it wanted to become: a gathering space for our community to come together, to open our hearts, to remember our wholeness, and to connect and transform through beauty and heart centered awareness.

Here we are, four years after our opening, still rooted in our values of health, sustainability and community. Thanks to you and all your support, we’ve also grown in resilience, fortitude and belief in ourselves and our mission to transform the world one delicious cup of cacao at a time.

Join us tomorrow at Maya Moon for a celebration and ceremony of living with open hearts. Let us connect together to the power of community, in circle, through sound waves, potent words and rich cacao medicine, to expand and elevate our joy 💛

Sacred Cacao & Sound Ceremony
Aug 21 from 7-10 pm
with @cacaokathryn @junglearyo & @nazzlani

This past weekend played a very fun pre-burn party, JAMESTOPIA at a secret location. So much fun thank you to @daewlk and @cuica.music for adding me to the lineup 💕✨

This was a very special Earth 🌎 + Easter Day HOUSE set @churchofmusicsd 🎧 curated to accommodate the lineup and style of HOUSE legend @mrbolddj at this uplifting COM in April. ☀️

Birds flew all around and above us during our sets, friends came out to dance 🪩 and it was another sunny day in San Diego set to bays and ocean on all sides. 🕊️

Dressed as a lil angel 👼🏼 for @churchofmusicsd Halloween show back in October 2024 ~ if you don’t know, I play Afro House, Afro Beats, Amapiano, Tribal and Organic 🐆 I was raised in a Samba studio since I was a baby; I’m part-Hawaiian or “hapa-haole”. 🌺 I come from a lineage of Hawaiian actresses, singers and dancers (hula primarily) but my mom got heavily into Samba, hence the samba studio since I was a baby part. These genres resonate with my DNA and are part of my being. 🧬 🎶

A child of the 90s, I throw in nostalgic 90s-vibe house, deep house, RnB and hiphop; these are a part of my soul.

Shout out to our community music Queen 👑 and ministress @alinagordon11 for bringing tour vision to life and still going strong. 🫶🏼✨

Last month I had the honor to play a wedding for a beautiful couple ~ Stephen & Sierra 💍 ~ from one of the churches I go to here in San Diego @kingscross.church ✨ not only was it unique and befitting their eclectic yet classy taste, but their community and vibe made me #tear up playing for them. 🥹 what made it even more special was that they had one of the pastors from our church ~ Pastor Obed ~ spin a special 30 min. Afro house set 🎧 since he was a vinyl DJ back in the UK, and he was accompanied by their Nigerian friend Ukeme who taught a special Nigerian dance.

All in all, their family, friends and the vibe were wholesome and fulfilling ~ and I was just the DJ & MC! 🤣🎙️

1st wedding gig of 2025 and things are looking beautiful so far. 🙏🏼🫶🏼😌
