Took my mom to see a movie I cut yesterday – @ballerinamovie is out now!!! Only in theaters.

So tremendously proud to be listed as lead editor of this film alongside Jason Ballantine (who cut principal photography) as well as a whole host of unbelievably talented individuals who helped out along the way.

I wouldn’t be here at the glorious end of this crazy journey without my team. Massive thanks to my assistants (Ben Cox, Sharia Davis, Daniel Burns, Brett Sørem, and (briefly!) Allie Andrus), and my VFX editors (Danny Walker and Kenton Hulme.) I can’t say enough good things about our VFX team (Paul Linden, Joe Greenberg, et al.), our finishing crew at CO3 (the ever-talented Jill Bogdanowicz), or our killer music team and our composers (special shout-outs to Dylan Eiland and Ben Zales for helping fill out what was once a fifteen minute club sequence with killer tracks!)

And, of course, the beating heart of every Wick film: Formosa Sound. With Mark Stoeckinger, Casey Genton, and Andy Koyama at the wheel, every cut feels better, and every hit looks absolutely vicious. Getting to witness Casey and Luke Gibleon shape the FX in the flamethrower sequence will stay with me forever.

Then there are the editors who came in along the way to try alternate ideas, tackle studio notes, and keep the wheels turning: Julian Clarke, Matt Evans, and Doc Crotzer. Each of you helped improve the film, and gave me the bandwidth to do what needed to be done on my end.

Finally, a very special thank you to Chad Stahelski & Len Wiseman for trusting me to take on this monumental task, and for always asking for more – their vision meant each scene got better and better.

Happy John Wick: Chapter 4 release weekend!

So unbelievably proud and grateful to have worked on this phenomenal movie, and have this unbelievable title.

Never in my wildest dreams, seeing the first movie with @jackdwright, would I have ever believed this day was coming.

Thank you to my mentor ( @nathan_orloff ), the incomparable Chad, and my amazing team ( @allie_andrus , @mvparenti , @danielaburns.jpeg , @nosynora , + so many more not on instagram) for all the amazing support.

Hey, y’all. I’ve barely ever been active on this platform, and after taking a peek at my inbox yesterday, thought it’d be prudent to make it official. Don’t want anyone thinking I’m ignoring them!

I’m still not very good at using this website, but I’ve got a couple images worth sharing and things worth bragging about.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend up the coast in celebration of @mkb221 - lots of wine, loads of laughter, and a bit of exploration around sunny Santa Barbara. Then, yesterday evening, @jackdwright and I got to taste a beer I’ve been in search of for nearly a decade. Let me tell you, reader, Pliny the Younger does not disappoint. On Thursday night, I walked to @sonoratownla and devoured a couple chivichangas before seeing @landoftalkmusic and @wolfparade. Also saw @nithyaforthecity introduce herself and present her platform for LA city council prior to the show - she has some great ideas, and was unflappable in the face of some very foolish and racist hecklers.

Anyway, I think I’ll try posting more frequently here again. No promises. by @nblundgren
