Aggies Making an Impact! 💙💛

Ever wonder what happens to leftover food on campus? Through the Food Recovery Network (FRN), the newest chapter at A&T, over 4,600+ pounds of quality food have been recovered and redistributed this year!

And here is why it matters
1.2 lbs of food recovered = 1 meal

These meals help reduce campus food waste while supporting food insecure and under resourced guests at the Interactive Resource Center, located less than a mile from campus.

Want to be part of the impact? It’s easy, Aggies!
Follow @ncat.frn today to sign up, volunteer, and make a difference.

Hey Aggies! NCAT ASABE is coming right back at you with another event. This Tuesday at 5pm, we’ll be starting up an Eco Brick construction project in collaboration with the Food Recovery Network! Ecobricks are a sustainable alternative to trash removal that sequesters plastic into reusable blocks.

If you’re passionate about environmental protection, this event is for you. This project will happen in 2 parts, so be sure to come out for both dates and bring your plastic bottles!
