Meet Grayson Mae Graziani, one of our precious new Eaglets born this summer who has us absolutely swooning! She is the daughter of Kendall Johnson Graziani (class of ‘16), who serves in our Development office as the Annual Fund and Alumni Coordinator, and granddaughter of Mandy Johnson, Assistant Director of Admissions. 💕

Sweet Grayson was born on June 15 at 4:31 p.m. at 7 lbs., 2 oz. She’s a proud member of the NCCS class of 2044. 🦅

Our Lower School vocal performance group, Joyful Voices, did a phenomenal job singing the National Anthem at the @braves game at @truistpark last night! Their sweet voices were a precious punctuation to the patriotic moment, complete with fireworks going off above. So proud of them and grateful for this bucket-list opportunity!

This little one understood her assignment. Director of College Counseling Katie Hoptroff’s baby girl, Hollyn Michelle, was born on graduation day, May 16! She just knew it was a special day for all of Mommy’s students (she’d been listening carefully for nine months). We adore this family! Congratulations, Hoptroffs - we know you are smitten! 🥰

Check out the creativity and talent shown by our students in the Celebrating Art Contest! We are thrilled to announce that we had seven Middle School Visual Art students whose artwork was selected to be published in the Spring 2026 edition of the Celebrating Arts publication!

Celebrating Arts is an educator-run organization with a highly selective process for showcasing and publishing student art from around the nation. Their goal is to “motivate students by providing a platform to showcase their work, which can also be included on college applications.”

Each piece is a reflection of the unique gifts our Creator has given our talented students. Congratulations to Sophia Broel, Josiah Caracelo, Amelia Klewien, Ava Leclair, Abigail Meskimen, Lindsey Pickett, and Natalie Williams. We are so proud of you - keep shining!

We have been in 🩵🩷 baby heaven 🩵🩷 over here this summer, as our faculty and staff added FIVE baby eaglets to our nest! We decided to stop being so selfish and share the endorphins with the rest of you 🤗😍. First, meet the newest son of Middle School Principal Brandon Ewing:

If only Meta had a “scratch and sniff” option. 🤤 Our NCCS Food Services team - led by Director Benny Vega, Executive Chef Adan, Benny’s son Tomas, and more - taught our campers how to grill on a Big Green Egg; use the sous vide cooking method to prepare pork chops, mashed potatoes, and asparagus; prepare from-scratch pizza — and much more this summer! Campers also learned meal planning, nutrition, and kitchen safety.

We love our @flikisdining team and how they don’t just “make food” at NCCS — they support our mission of connecting with students, doing life together, and ultimately helping them discover God’s unique gifts and purposes for their lives. Doesn’t hurt when you can achieve this mission with a freshly grilled burger. 🍔
