#NCCULife | Congratulations to Haneef A. Eiermann, the 84th Student Body President at North Carolina Central University, on being sworn in as the student member of the NCCU Board of Trustees. Administered by NCCU School of Law alumna Judge Shamieka Rhinehart, the oath marks another milestone in Eiermann's distinguished record of leadership. On May 12th, 2026, student leaders from SGA had the honor of attending HBCU Advocacy Day alongside our Chancellor, Karrie G. Dixon, as she spoke highly of our university and advocated for meaningful change. SGA leaders also had the opportunity to network with fellow HBCU student leaders and visit the Governor’s Mansion in downtown Raleigh. by @nccusga

This past weekend marked the final ASG meeting of the 54th session, hosted by @appstate.sga. Thank you all for closing out the session with such a well-executed and impactful gathering, it was truly a great way to bring everyone together one last time. A highlight of the weekend was celebrating our very own Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Alvarado Coleman, who received the William C. Friday Lifetime Achievement Award. Anyone who has had the chance to interact with her knows how genuine, supportive, and present she is. She consistently shows up for students in ways that go beyond her role, and this recognition felt well-deserved. It’s been really special to witness the impact she’s had on our campus community❤️Grateful for the connections, collaboration, and work accomplished this session, looking forward to what’s ahead! by @nccusga
