Congratulations to Chris Maner, our West Central Regional Teacher of the Year!

Years Teaching: 15

Classes Taught: Foundations of Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Construction, Turfgrass Management, Agricultural Production, Agricultural Mechanics, and Animal Science

Why I Chose to Teach Agriculture:
“Teaching agriculture allows me to show the value of experiential learning and give students a true understanding of our nation’s most essential industry and where our food comes from. I teach agriculture because it allows me to provide the same opportunities that I received through my years in FFA.”

Join us in celebrating our Regional Teachers of the Year and the impact they make on agricultural education across North Carolina! by @ncffa

Here’s to 10 years of Pull for Youth and a brighter future for North Carolina agriculture! 🔟🥳

Earlier this week, we gathered at Hunters’ Pointe Shooting Clays in Washington, NC for another memorable day of fellowship, friendly competition, and giving back.

Every year, Pull for Youth brings our agricultural community together to support @NorthCarolina4H and @NCFFA programs, helping provide funding and opportunities for the young leaders who will shape the future of our industry.

We couldn’t make it happen without the generosity of our sponsors and everyone who joined us. Thank you for being part of such a meaningful tradition year after year!

We were honored to participate in the recent Pull for Youth sporting clays events!

Hosted by the Farm Credit Associations of North Carolina, these events play a massive role in supporting the future of agriculture across our state. Over the past 9 years, Pull for Youth has raised over $890,000 for NC FFA and NC 4-H!

With agriculture as NC’s #1 industry, these funds directly impact tomorrow’s ag leaders by opening doors and creating opportunities statewide.

Thank you to Farm Credit for their steadfast commitment to our members and for enabling bright futures for young people across North Carolina!
