The mission is simple: to strengthen voter education, registration, and active participation across communities nationwide.

Built on six core pillars, Voter Education, Registration, Protection, Mobility, Support, and Communication, PowerUp provides the tools, resources, and knowledge required to make informed decisions at the ballot box.

Every vote matters, and every voice deserves to be heard. Together, we educate. Together, we mobilize. Together, we PowerUp.

As we reflect on our history, we also recognize the importance of continuing the work toward justice, equity, and empowerment in our communities.

This past weekend, the National Council of Negro Women Howard Section proudly hosted our annual Height of Black Womanhood Scholarship Conference.

Under this year’s theme, “Evolving Her Essence: Unveiling Her Higher Self,” we celebrated the brilliance, leadership, and limitless potential of young women stepping into their next chapter.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients, we wish you nothing but success as you embark on your college journeys.

A special thank you to Judge Tamika A. Coverdale for serving as our guest speaker, your words were truly inspiring and impactful and we will carry them with us wherever we go.

Thank you to our Height of Black Womanhood Committee for your dedication and hard work in bringing this vision to life. Your efforts continue to uplift, inspire, and invest in her future.
