A great trip where we caught-up and shared stories over meals. Accommodation was great, meals were ok (only), weather was great. I concluded this trip with a full-blown stomach flu once I reached Singapore, or as @fndchen called it an "efficient weight-loss " plan that he envied. by @ncytio

Our second time cruising with Genting Dream for a mini getaway. Our routines involved food, gym, shows, live bands and food again.

One of the sweetest moments was meeting an elderly couple who booked the cruise just so they could listen to live Mandarin / Cantonese songs every night and we were advised by them not to even consider the casinos.. 😂😂

Our hearts were set for Alishan. But because of a TECHNICAL error, we went to Taichung. Rather than bemoaned, we lived our joie de vivre moment.

Taichung was what we pictured. Distinctive, relaxed, and definitely a bubble-tea fuelled city. I am not a bubble tea person, but when I saw 春水堂, I knew I had to try it. It was just “OK” for me.

We visited Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands. The plan was to catch the glorious “sky mirror” sunset but that afternoon was pretty cloudy. So no sunset for us

From Taichung, we head to Taoyuan and stayed in a hotel so secluded that Fendi called it “tempat jin buang anak”. Dramatic huh? But because of that “poor hotel choice”, we managed to explore other part of Taiwan, visited the biggest outlets we'd ever been and recreated our "The Continental" moment.

With all these, we wrapped up our spring holiday.

PS: Sometimes, a memorable trip isn’t the one planned.
