Great long weekend in Amsterdam. Rijksmuseum 🖼️ was brilliant. Visited Haarlem (pic with the windmill ) and some beautiful music🪉🪈🎹 in Vondelpark. Also went to Zandvort beach🏖️, which was a little windy and when I saw jelly fish in the water I got out 🤣 And took a paddle boat down the canals 🛶

A little back to front as I'm posting my choma's hen party pics after the wedding 😂 Such a great hen party with lovely people, weather, food and so much more. Pre birthday boogey @rollingstocklondon in Hoxton with Bliss, saw my church family the morning of my birthday and then had a lovely Sun roast pub lunch with friends. Boat trip - Captain Natalie has a nice ring to it 😂 I'm in awe of the stunning natural beauty 😍 Such stunning beaches 🌊⛱️. The video where the rocks look like they have ridges is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Swam loads and stopped off and had some fresh grilled fish 🐟 for lunch. A great way to kill 6 hours. Met some lovely people on the boat too.

The next 2 stops on our day excursion was the Blue Eye 🧿 > pics 1-6. It was a 25 min walk to get there, but oh my goodness, such natural beauty 😍 The colours are incredible. This lake 🏞️ has an average depth of 50m and is the only one of 18 others that comes from the mountain. Its oval shape that is created is in the shape of a blue eye. The water of this crystal lake is consistently at 11 degrees Celsius.

Then to the Lekuresi Castle > pics 7-12. Dates back to the VI century and it is located in a strategic point of the city, because by the time it was built, it protected the city from movements on the sea and possible threats. Amazing views of Saranda from the top 😍😱

Blown away with the natural beauty, amazing beaches and friendly people. I'm truly blessed. I can definitely recommend it.

Had a great day out exploring around Saranda. Tony our guide was so knowledgeable. Well worth it and so much history.
1-3. Ksamil: located on the Ionian sea, 18km south of Saranda & is part of the National Park of Butrint. Such clear waters 😱⛱️
The National Park of Butrint (also known as Buthrotum) is one of the biggest archeological treasures of Albania and is also a World Heritage UNESCO site.
4. A Venetian Tower built in the 15th and 16th century.
5. The ancient Theatre, a construction of rye 3rd century, later arranged according to the Roman style
6. A baptistry of the early 6th century, with mosaic floor
7. The fountain of the 2nd century A.D, dedicated to the Nymphs
8-10. The Great Basilica - a cult establishment of the early Christian period, built in the 6th century A.D
11-12. The Lake Gate - a perfect Hellenistic gateway of the 4th century B.C
13. Museum of the ancient city of Butrint
