Presenting still moments from Par-ici la vie. 🇧🇮

A moving contemporary duet choreographed by @fierysiofficial Audreille Sibomana (Burundi) and performed by @iwacudancecompany @iwacudancecie, at the Dance Life Festival 2026.

Through intimate and poetic movement, Par-ici la vie explores the emotional upheaval of departure, the longing for elsewhere, the uncertainty of what lies ahead, and the weight of everything we leave behind. The piece invites us to reflect on the fragile space between leaving and staying, and the question: what remains of us when we go?

With the support of @if_officiel, @africalia.belgium, @goetheinstitut_nairobi, @prohelvetia_johannesburg, @upstagelimited, @ticah.ke, and @artzonestudios.

Official media coverage by @in.nairobi.

ENG
The journey has begun.

Since last Monday, we have entered the first phase of our creative residency for Bienvenue chez les gentils.
This is where words begin to take shape, where imagination is born and grows within the space. Together, we explore, question, listen, and move. Every gesture becomes a conversation, every silence an invitation, every body a living archive of possibilities.
This residency is a time for research, experimentation, and collective creation a space where ideas slowly transform into movement and where the first fragments of the performance begin to emerge.

We are only at the beginning, but the journey has already started.
