Last year I reached a point that I can only describe as being lost. I had no plan for the future and no outlook for the rest of college. During that time I was shown the bridge diagram (as pictured above) and that’s when the gospel of Jesus Christ was made clear to me. I felt burdened by my sin, which at the time I didn’t fully understand; I just knew something was wrong. That was when my heart was truly softened to understand that my sin completely separates me from God and that nothing of my own works can reconcile me to God. But then who can? Jesus Christ, the perfect son of God who loved us so much that he would endure the cross, bearing the punishment for our sins. “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬

After going on Summer Project last year, coming back wasn’t even a thought until in prayer God led me to fully trust him and submit to his plan for my life instead of holding on to my own. And in that, coming back was one of the best decisions I have ever been led to. I have truly learned to understand and rest in God’s faithfulness. He is trustworthy, true to his character, and his promises will NEVER fail. “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.”

I am truly blessed that I was able to come back and grow together with this community and experience a glimpse of heaven. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. IM INNER taken in The Grounds by @ndevensky
