Grandma - The glue that keeps the family together, the backbone of the family, the Matriarch of the family, the one we all turn too when we don’t know where else to go. You fought so hard for so long .. they said you wouldn’t make it until Monday & you pushed it to Tuesday! Watching your health decline these past two years has been the toughest challenge God has ever put me through mentally and physically but I’m thankful for every last moment I got to spend with you in that time, it wasn’t easy at all coming home everyday and seeing you in pain & not living your life how you once did but God knew I couldn’t handle it if he just sprung your death on me I needed this time with you to mentally prepare myself for the day you transitioned. I remember you told me one day you were ready to go home, I told you that you were home in your bed and you looked up to the sky & said “no I’m ready to go home, I’m tired” well get your rest baby you’re home now safe & not in pain anymore. Even though we been preparing for the day it doesn’t make it any easier coming home to house that you no longer fill with your love and presence. You left me with so much grief & pain but I’ll take that to know you aren’t suffering anymore. I love you too bad nanny I truly thought you would live forever with me 💔💔💔💔 sleep peacefully my beautiful angel 👼🏽❤️🙏🏽- love your youngest & favorite grandchild ❤️ by @ndollaz___
