Meet Steve Holmes! Steve is a senior studying Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Human Development and Family Science.

“When I first joined Theta, honestly, I didn’t have one big reason behind it. I was curious. I wanted to know what being in a sorority was really like, and I had heard that you could make a lot of friends along the way. I thought I’d give it a chance and see where it took me.

I never expected Theta to become what it is to me now. I’ve gained so much more than I ever thought was possible. Theta gave me a family I didn’t even realize I needed. It gave me people who have supported me, challenged me, encouraged me, and helped me grow into a better version of myself.

Being in Theta has made me realize how much the people around you can shape your life. Having the right people beside you can help you grow, become happier, and feel like you don’t have to go through everything alone. I’ve learned so much about myself through Theta, and I’m so grateful that I took that chance on something without really knowing where it would lead me.”

Meet Olivia Walls! Olivia is a Junior studying Human Development and Family Science with a minor in psychology.

“I joined Greek life hoping to make new friends, but I was nervous about the cost and time commitment. Looking back, everything I have gained from being a member of Theta has been extraordinary. Not only have I built lifelong friendships, but I have also been given opportunities to earn scholarships, volunteer in the community, develop leadership skills, and grow as a person.

One of the greatest gifts has been having a supportive group of sisters who are always there for me. Once you experience everything Theta has to offer, the cost becomes insignificant compared to the friendships, personal growth, and opportunities you receive. Joining Theta has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made” by @ndsutheta
