British Indie Author writing steamy romance 📚🌶️💕
Contemporary and Paranormal/Fantasy Romance ❤️

POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi there,

I thought I would refresh this post a little differently this time.

I write steamy romance stories with plot, some are super dark, others are not as dark, but I can guarantee that if you enjoy the types of books that I write, you will feel the emotions ❤️❤️

Please be aware that I’m a British author who writes in British English; I never hide that fact, but it still catches out the occasional reader.

Full tropes and TWs are on my website, but if you are like me and don’t have any, dive headfirst in and prepare for a bumpy ride with plenty of steam 🥳❤️

Much love

Nat 😘

Sat at the kitchen table, despite having a desk upstairs, I've spent the afternoon working on one of my WIPs. It may not be the one I plan to publish next, but I let my characters lead the way, and I've really enjoyed it 🎉
During the multiple breaks I take to stare into space while my characters take a breath, I've watched two squirrels chase each other around the garden. We have one here every day, and I love seeing them play.

Anyway, I thought I'd drop by and let you all know I'm still here, still writing, just enjoying it more now I've decided not to try and post all the time 🤣

Writing because I love it | squirrels are nuts | I’ll post when I want to | No deadlines

I've tried so hard to keep my current WIP away from my other books. The time period is well before the world goes to pot in my Trust In Magic series. I thought I was safe. It's not linked in any way.

A standalone paranormal romance with twin wolf shifters and a human FMC. No problem, right?

Wrong 🤣

I’ve had to put a post up in my readers group today confessing my inability to keep them out, as several of the characters in my newsletter sign-up short story (which was also not supposed to have anything to do with my series. Blame the character, not me) have muscled their way in 🙄

So expect a cameo appearance 🤣

Those who have read all my books will spot them immediately 🤣🤣

Do other authors have this issue with unruly characters barging into stories that had nothing to do with them? Let me know I'm not alone 🙏

I'm taking part in a BookFunnel promotion this month, and I've offered up my fabulously steamy vampire short story, which is only available on BookFunnel ❤️🥳

This promo does require a newsletter sign-up for the books you choose.

I've been keeping this one under wraps until we were ready to publish, but the anthologies are now LIVE.

You can find them in paperback or ebook on KU or wide. You will find some authors in the wide version and others in the KU version, and the volumes feature different authors, too.

Why am I taking part?

As an author, I believe deeply in the freedom to read whatever you are inspired to read. With the current literary crises, getting books into the hands of our youth is of the utmost
importance.

That doesn’t mean I believe every book is right for every child. Parents should have the right to decide what is appropriate for their children.

Books can challenge us. They can educate us. They can help a child or teen realise they aren't alone.

And sometimes, a book finds you at exactly the moment you need it.

Removing books entirely out of fear of persecution and jail time is a reality in America.

What is "harmful" or "inappropriate" varies between children, but if it could be considered harmful to ANY child, it must be removed. What is harmful? Well, the word isn't even defined, and any person, anywhere in the world, can object to any book. And that librarian could receive jail time. So, libraries are being segregated and purged of great literature that many would love to access and that parents would approve of, but now they don't even have the choice.

So I've joined over 100 other authors in a collection of works to support the ACLU's work defending the freedom to read. And to defend a parent's choice to decide what their own child reads and has access to.

Take a look for yourself at these fabulous collections:

I will put a clickable link in my b1o

Procrastinating hard today 🤣

There is so much drama and unpleasantness online, and not just in our bookish community.

Today I’m asking you to change that, so as you scroll through before your day starts, while you eat lunch, or maybe while you hide in the loo for a few minutes of peace (I don't judge), you can make a difference.

Authors are out here just trying to write their stories and provide you with a bit of escape. So let’s do something to show we appreciate their efforts.

Find your favourite author's latest social media post, give it a like, leave a nice comment, and share it if you can. Go and give them the boost they need to write that next chapter.

I will be doing the same because we all need a little virtual hug now and then ❤️

Happy Thursday ❤️

WIP WEDNESDAY

I thought I would drop by with a little snippet from my next release. Which I am steadily writing in between working and family life, so don't expect it any time soon 🤣

I can tell you that I already have a cover, and I'm now over 60k into their story.

This paranormal romance is going to be a standalone and not directly tied to my Trust In Magic series, despite my characters' best efforts to change that 🤣

I can't wait to share more with you, but in the meantime, why not sign up for my newsletter to stay in the know❤️

If you want me, I'll be hiding in a world of supernatural beings.

Within Her Magic is book one of my Trust in Magic series. All three books are available on KU.

A man like Sawyer is hard to find. But if you love this sort of love in a book, you can find A Woman Worth Healing on KU.

Five Points about my WIP 😍

Thank you @juliablakeauthor for the tag, I've actually managed to cobble something together 😂

My current WIP has all of this and more. But be aware my book is no rom com and there are likely to be some TWs, especially if you live in a rural community and the green fields surrounding your village/town have been targeted by money-hungry property developers 🤷🏻‍♀️

This beautiful story is full of love, steam, romance, and twin wolf shifters who will do anything to make their human mate happy. Even if it means not claiming her!

Don't worry, I can guarantee a HEA ❤️

Keep your eyes peeled or be the first to know by joining my newsletter or Facebook Group (N Dune’s Readers Pod).
