Quick appreciation post for my guys. A little late to the party, but I had to let it all sink in. I'll start by thanking our fantastic managers. You guys don't get enough credit for what you guys do. Glad I could spend 3/4 of the season with you guys so I could fully appreciate what you guys do. Thanks for doing our disgusting laundry, running the clock, holding a camera, and everything else you did for us. Whether you were able to make it to the end of the year or not, huge thank you❤. Now to all of my senior teammates. You guys will never know the impact that you had on me, our teammates, our school, and our community. You were all great examples of how to be an outstanding athlete, student, teammate, and person. Thanks for giving me something to try and strive towards, on and off the court. Thanks for working me every single practice without taking it easy at all. I'm excited to see what you all do after high school. I have no doubt that you'll all do amazing things. To the rest of my teammates, let's get back to work. There's still more for us to do. Let's show the league we weren't a one year wonder. Until next season❤💛❤💛🏀 by @nealio.patching

Can't think of a way to start this, but I'll start by saying this. WOW! What a season! The amount of sheer will that this team had was unreal. We never cared what anyone thought about us. All we needed was each other. After not having enough kids for a JV and tying our first 4 games, I was scared we wouldn't even make it out of districts. But, eventually we started to win. We became a team. We battled through the noise, and we won the next however many in-a-row to become the league champs. By the end of it all, we weren't a team anymore. We were a family. A family who, still had the occasional arguments, but still loved each other. This team finally allowed me to love a sport. It's been awhile since I could honestly say that. You brought a passion out of me that I thought was long gone, and I'd like to thank you guys for that. I've formed bonds that I can probably say will last forever. I judged some you guys wayyyy to early, but at the end of it, I saw things that I hadn't realised about you, and I saw growth. Growth as soccer players, and as people. I saw leadership from those who I thought were selfish. I saw the softest parts of the toughest guys. Through every 2-goal-deficit, and every battle, we never gave up. We had a will that was unmatched. Although I would have like to end the year as a state champion, 18(?)-1-4 ain't bad. Especially given that the one loss was the state final. Thanks for an incredible season guys. Love you all, my brothers❤ by @nealio.patching
