Onto our very own ray of light, Micah, the part nordic, part God knows where yogi spirit, with yoga being their essence. And we are beyond thrilled to have @neasactingcorner joining the team!

Nea Cornér (they/she/he) is a London based Finnish actor, singer and writer, and they also play the trombone. They graduated with a master’s degree from East 15 Acting School and have stage combat qualifications to an advanced level. Recent stage credits include 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, Midsummer Night’s Rave (The Arches at St Mary’s Church), Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare in the Square, Camden Market), title role in an adult pantomime version of Robin Hood (Bread & Roses Theatre) and multiple runs of the devised ensemble piece GOALS (Bread & Roses Theatre, The Bridge House Theatre and Camden People’s Theatre).

Nea has found their foot in immersive performance and enjoys devising and ensemble work, physical theatre, dark comedy, Shakespeare and musicals. Alongside performing they find time for reading, baking, board games - and of course, yoga.

They are truly a force to be reckoned with, and you get to see them in all their glory on 16th/ 17th October at @goldengoosetheatre as part of the @lambethfringe. Book now - it's going to be epic!

@stevereedlabour , are you going to sign the EDM240 to disapprove EHRC's Code of Practice?

If anyone wants to contact their MP to sign, but doesn't know how or what to write, message me!

Lord, what fools these mortals be 🧚🏼‍♂️

Rehearsing and performing a play in 12 hours? Foolish, some might say. Was it stressful and chaotic? Yes. Would I do it again? Absolutely yes.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is one my dearest and it was amazing to get to step into the shoes (and dungarees) of Demetrius.

Thank you to this wonderful cast of people (the Midsummer Night's Dream team) who made the challenging day worthwhile and more! Everyone worked together so seamlessly and brought their magical selves into the mix ✨ By the end of it, I couldn't believe we only met each other on the day.

Thank you to @60hourshakespeare for organising the mad enterprise of Shakespeare Unstaged, @ruth_cowell for guiding us gently but firmly and letting us be the playful kids she wanted us to be 🧡
So happy to have been supporting @theatredeli in the process too ☺️

And grateful for the audience who shared the night with us too!

Benedick.

I love this monologue from Much Ado and used it for my audition for Midsummer (Benedick 🤝🏻 Demetrius) and during the rehearsal process played around with more theatrical and subdued deliveries, combining both in this video. It's also interesting how neither of these versions were like the one I ended up doing in the room, not having the restraints of the frame.

Enjoy 🎭

Come and have a go if you think you’re bard enough.

Shakespeare Unstaged rehearses and performs a Shakespeare play in a day every month at Theatre Deli.

Nea @neasactingcorner will play Demetrius

Tickets for A Midsummer Night’s Dream are sold out, but look out for tickets and auditions for our next show on the Theatre Deli website.

Actors are cast on a voluntary basis with all proceeds donated to Theatre Deli.

Registered charity Theatre Deli has been a driving force within the arts since 2008, taking over empty spaces in city centres including five London boroughs and Sheffield, and creating 16 hubs to date that support emerging artists, companies and communities whose identities, backgrounds, disciplines or work are underrepresented in theatre.
